ok folks... alot of us HATE gnc, i am one. i worked there, they dont give a fuck who they hire (no offense to anyone, sometimes they get good employees). alot of their guys dish out shit for advice. so i am gonna help YOU save GOOD money.
heres what you need to do:
find a local gnc that is located in the same mall, or very very close to a "vitamin world". These stores are usually called competition stores. they are dirt cheap. they take a hit for the company by selling stuff for nothing and in return they try to drive out the competition.
pricing example:
xenadrine 39.99 at a regular store.... 29.99 at a competition store... myoplex deluxe 64.99 at a regular store, 35.99 at a competition store!!!! and the big 42 size boxes are regularly 99.99 but at comp stores they are around 65.00
hell, if you get this stuff on a gold card day you basically get two for one.

i HATE gnc. i want them to lose money. EVERYONE should bypass paying retail when you can get it at wholesale. trust me on this one... if you have to get on the phone and ask the stores if they are competition stores... or just ask the price of xenadrine and if its 29, then its a comp store.

thank me later.

I also work at a GNC, and the advice given is true. I don't mind working at my GNC, my manager is cool, but I must agree that many employees know very little about supplements and are only out for their commission money.
