To all you FSU students/alumni, it looks as though your reign of No. 1 party school is over, LSU is now the reigning champion. I'm so happy I was a part of making this award possible for LSU. The countless number of one night stands, sleepless nights, missed classes, and hangeovers were all worth it. I really miss 50 cent pitchers at Sports on Monday nights. Where else could you get fucked up for under $2. Those were the days.     | ||

I've lived in both states and partied extensively at both schools. Here's the real deal: Both of them are awesome to party at. But FSU is and always will be the champion, LSU will be a distant #1a. FSU has a winning footbal team, LSU's team is garbage. Both places tailgate well, but for post game partying, it helps the mood when the team doesn't get smacked. LSU's housing near campus is haphazard and run down shitty-ass apartments. Parklyn Chase condo's (Baton Rouge) is butt-shit compared to the Player's Club and the Polo Club, and some others in Tallahassee. At LSU - area housing, if the weather is good, you'll see a few cuties lounging around near the pool, maybe a keg etc. Nice. But at Florida state, I've seen a guy DJ-ing poolside, of course a keg, and makeshift bars set up in the area. LSU's off campus scene sucks too - there's a bar called the Varsity, and a few other shit-holes along the way. Baton Rouge does have the Gator Bar, which is unique, but not really a LSU spot anyway. FSU has Tennessee street - Yianni's Bullwinkle's, AJ's, Potbelly's etc. And of course as any true Seminole knows, Guthrie's. There's also Late Night's in Tallahassee, not to mention Clyde's on Fridays and Sloppy Joe's. LSU girls will sleep with you for a smile and a wave, FSU girls want to know that you can at least form a complete sentence. LSU wins here but only by a hair. The final tally: Housing (quailty of social life): FSU Location (capital of FLA vs captial of LA): FSU Women: LSU, but not by much. Final score: FSU 4, LSU 1. Sorry Peanut, you lose. Yeah, haphazardly. It's best if you start on north campus or at least at Bernie's. That was a freakin' cool bar. Finish finals on Wed/Thus at 9 AM and go down there to start the break off right! ------------------ | ||
