The Honeymoon...

As some of you may have read, I popped the question and set the date. I was given an etiquette book outlining the timeline for planning the wedding. It says that I have to make honeymoon reservations within the first 3 months after the engagement.

I would definately appreciate any and all advice on locations for August/Summer part of the year.....

Thanks Havoc... Hey if you guys can recommend an online travel site which might have some pricing structures, that would be great too.

Thanks!!!

Sight1 - check out the following:

ARUBA is wonderful!!!!!!!

Temperature you ask? An average daytime temperature of 82 F, a location completely outside the hurricane belt, and the wind constantly blows which makes Aruba one of the most temperate islands in the Caribbean. "....just as comfortable in July as it is in January."

Congratulations Bro, Bermuda is a great place to honeymoon. If you want to get very exotic, go to Mauritaurus. It is truly an island paradise.

Screw going on a vacation wher you stay in one place...go on a cruise...You get to see it all, and you can stop in mexico, pick up juice, and not have to go thru customs...NOW WHATS BETTER THAN THAT?!?!?

Hey Black,

I just checked out Aruba.com, and I requested some informational brochures. It looks pretty good. Any AS there?? I thought that cruises were geared more towards older folks... What do you think?

I would go to one of those "all - inclusive" resorts..i cant remember the name (couples? or something like that)
They have seven different ones to choose from. Any travel agent will give you more information.

Tahiti(sp)? Cost a great deal though. I think the cheapest trip is around $3000.00

If you are interested in all-inclusive resorts, go to http://www.vacation-au-naturel.com . I do web design for the guy who owns it (yeah I know the site's ugly but I didn't design the main page). There are no prices online but they respond really quickly when you fill out the request for quotation form. I've seen pictures and information about most of the resorts and they are pretty awesome... you don't even have to bring a wallet - everything is pretty much paid for. Pretty cheap too.

If you end up making a reservation through him tell him his webmaster sent you... maybe I'll get a raise! Lol

Sight:

All the bros seem to favor palm trees. That's great, but it's not romantic, IMO.

Honeymoon? Two possibilities: Florence Italy, or Greece. Either will bring out the romantic in both you and your lady.

BTW, congratulations on making the commitment. May you be happy together, and may you be blessed with children.
