I know most of you folks here on the Chat & Conversation board spend quite a bit of time here while you're at work. Don't you guys feel kinda guilty sometimes? Like... the boss is there at his desk going "ahhh my faithful employees... look at them working so diligently" and you're here talking about whatever? I read the board sometimes during work and I can't help but think "wow... that's about $2.15 that I'll get paid for doing nothing this week." Am I the only one with a conscience? Lol...

Nah dude. For a while i felt bad too, when I wasn't doing any work at school. Then i rationalized it out, and it was all good.

Yeah dude but school doesn't mean shit... if you can pass your classes without doing any work then more power to ya, but at work it's like you're getting paid to fuck around. My friend used to work at this accounting place and he would spend the better part of his office time playing solitaire, talking on the phone with me, or sleeping in such a position that anyone who walked by his cubicle would think that he was working. Makes me feel guilty sometimes when I slack off... then again, I am over 700% underpaid (literally, no joke). Makes me wonder who's right...

I spend a fair amount of my work hours checking out this site, along with e-mails, and other internet activities. Do I feel guilty? NO WAY!!! They pay me to do a job and I do that job very well. However there is a fair amount of down time that leaves me time to check out the net. I have to remain at my job until the end of the day, so having the web and e-mail definately makes that easier.

Before I had the 'puter at work I would just read all day so its no difference to me. I do my job well...but I have lots of downtime too..
