FOR GUYS.
DONT
wear a wife beater
scream while lifting
hit on everything near you
give pointers to people who dont ask you
size other guys up
train chest every fucking day
take someones machine or bench
act like your the fuckin man
spend more time in the mirror then lifting
spend more time talking then lifting

FOR THE GALS
DONT
wear makeup
talk on a cell phone (both really)
wear a pushup bra and gstring (i saw that today, it was funny as hell)

If the gal is working out properly she shouldn't even THINK about makeup...I sweat so much none would last anyway. I saw some guy today there with the cell phone on his hip..I burst out laughing...that was right after another guy used the seated calf press machine right after me...tried to use the weight I did and couldn't move the damn thing....bwahhhaa...and I don't use that much either!!

o and speaking of makeup, there is this one girl who comes to the gym, totally decked down. She wears spandex shorts and bra tops everyday, never with shorts over them! She does cardio the whole time...and 1 machine.. the lying hamstring curl..so all the guys will look at her ass, i assume...

CJ: Wearin sandals in my gym is actually not allowed. They'll ask ya to leave if you have jeans on when you're lifting. Sandals and shoes aren't allowed at all in the weight room.

here is one that body builders will get made at , but here it is. DO NOT CURL in the fuckin squatrack! everbody pays there dues but when your there at the same time for legs every day and year and some new group of guys are curlin, oh shit! Man we must be spoiled but damn it drives us fuckin crazy!

dont come dress to go clubbin at the gym(ive seen that a few times),dont hit on all the women,i agree with cleaning sweat off thats nasty when u get somebody elses smelly sweat on u,dont throw weights arond thinking your a hard ass when you dont weigh more then 150 thats about it and colonge thats gross man gets me all sick and light headed

ohh my god superstar i fucking hate it when they do that..this guy was using the hammer strength machine for chest the other day..he gets off and there is sweat all over the seat....so i immediatly go over the the paper towels and windex ....he watches me the whole time ..staring at me like i did something wrong ....i just looked and shook my head

Amen moe. I don't mind the customary "sup dude, how's it goin?" greeting, but please don't try to strike up a conversation.

A few weeks ago some guy was pinned under the bar (benching without a spotter, brilliant), so naturally I save the guy's life since I don't want his head exploding from the pressure and crap getting all over me. From that moment until the guy finally left he would thank me EVERY FUCKING TIME WE WALKED PAST EACH OTHER.

Me: *puts dumbbell back on the rack*
Guy: "Thanks again man."
Me: !!!

Gym = lift and shaddup.
Outside gym = start talking to people... at least then they can get in the car and drive away.

guys,
i dont throw the weights but i do drop them frmo time to time, some of the small ppl dont do that on purpose, its just happens that we cant lift it anymore so the best thing to do is just drop it!
You guys are always bad mouthing the little guys as if you were born big and strong and knew everything!
It takes time for ppl to learn!
I agree there are some ignorant asses but you guys look like you are talking about all the little guys in the gym who know jack shit about weight lifting!

Just giving my opinion!

I don't mind people dropping weights cause they've given it all they've got and they can't lift them anymore, but there are people who drop them as if it were a mandatory part of their set. I've seen some kid who has dropped his dumbbells on the floor after a set of CURLS. On the other side of the spectrum, there was this big guy who dropped his 80lb weights from shoulder height after a set of dumbbell shoulder presses. Wtf is that? He could have crushed some guys foot.

If gym staff actually enforced the "do not slam weights," "please re-rack weights," "please wear athletic clothing" etc.. rules, then this crap would stop happening.

Av: Don't take it personally. I don't. We fit into the stereotype of 'your small so you act tough and can't back it up', but if your on this site and contributin, you're movin in the right step to gettin big. My arms are pretty small and I wear sleevless tee's to lift. I get looks like "Why is the kid showin off arms he ain't got?" all the time. I shake it off cause I know I'm improvin, my arms are more defined then they were a couple months ago. People that give you those looks are obstacles. Translate my quote and you'll see what obstacles are.

Shit man i am 5'9 165lbs. I am a runt. It takes balls to goto the gym at 5pm on a monday when every body even the fucking girls have bigger arms then you. Everyone had to start some where. they may can say I am small, but they cant say shit about my form. Being small with good form isnt shit compared to being big with the arched-back bench press technique. ON with the pantera and in with the juice

Don't come to the gym like it's a phucking fashion show. Don't dump your problems on others, especially me cause I don't give a crap. Don't ask for a god damn spot on the bench when you know you can't do it, this way I don't have to use all my strength to put it back on the rack. Do not, do not ask to work out with me, because I know you won't show up the next day.

When you rack the weight, put it on the rack with the plate facing out. I am tired of smashing my fingers spinning plates trying to catch the lip to lift it off the rack.

Unload the plates when you're done using something. I hate it when I see a guy get off the leg press machine and then some girl has to unload 6 plates off each side to work out.

Big or Small the RULES are the same.

1) Don't drop/slam the weights..

2) Don't die on the equipment ( do your set
and get up)

3) Leave your cell phone in the car...

4) Clean up after yourself (mommy doesn't
work at the club)

5) Show respect to one another ( big or
small we are all there for the same
reason)** most of us anyway **

DO NOT DROP THE DUMBELLS. If you can't put them down in an appropriate fashion, ie. placing them down without breaking or bending them, don't fucking lift that weight.

I know a lot of you do this, but I hate weight belts and straps. Some people wear them all the time. It will do more damage than good. Cell phones and beepers piss men off. Using the squat rack for curls is a waste, and everyone doing bench all the time is sad. Also trainers that use machines, smith machines and do half assed squats "to protect the knees" pisses me off. also, little geeks asking and talking about supplements and not even doing the hard basic lifts. Not going all the way down in the squat pisses me off. Broads doing cardio all the time too.

I like Moe's idea, Don't talk to me, but especially when I'm in the middle of a fucking set. And tell me before I spot you on the bench press whether or not I'm going to be getting a deadlifting workout because your using 100 lbs more than you can lift.

1)Don't come into the gym thinking and acting like you're the biggest f-ing thing on the planet - you are not!(and if you are wonderful for you)
2)Don't come into the gym wearing a wifebeater and proceed to "oil down" the exposed bodyparts. Nobody will mistake you for a serious lifter.
3)Don't carry aroung a big tub of protien powder with you along with your gallon of water while you train. So - do you want everyone to know you are"BULKING". Who fucking cares!!!

I think people should stop worrying about others and shut the fuck up and train. Stop being captivated by bullshit. When your physique looks respectable,robotic or comic hero like then say something, for now learn to train and eat properly for a while then voice your opinion.

As long as everyone is paying the same dues to be a member of a gym there rights to train are equal to all other members big or small. If anyone is bothered by that go buy your own gym. otherwise respect all......

im with havoc, but those motherfuckers who load up like 3 different machines and go back and forth using them without letting u workin, or this 1 fucking geek who takes at least 5 min between each set, just to see someone curl the weight of his chest

My beef is when you are in the middle of your sets and some guy comes up and says "You shouldn't do that exercise, you should do this..I did it yesterday and I sure can feel it today" and then when you keep doing your sets he looks at you like you're some dumb fuck and is pissed that you didn't just change your entire routine on his wonderful words of wisdom. Bottom line for me is the gym is mine -
Fuk it if you don't like it be glad i didn't shoot you.

I want the girls wearing G-strings - takes my mind off the pain.

Yes - size matters but effort is the key. Gotta respect the little guy bustin the nut!!!!
