If and when George W. Bush becomes president will there be a change in the enforcement of AS laws?

well, he's still got my vote, I'm from Texas and I think it may be a sin not to vote for him.

First of all I don't vote, don't have the time to, but if I was to vote it would be for Bush. I am a republican just a non practicing one. I don't have one ounce of respect for Gore and especially Clinton, they are both pathetic representatives for our country, now Gores running mate is so so, he flip flops on too many issues and he is just there because Clinton picked him to be there to help Hillary in NY, hey I am no better person than anyone but for someone to have such a respectable and responsible JOB as the Pres of the US, Clinton and Gore were one of the worst ever having no dignity or professionalism whatsoever, a complete joke. If some disagree with me and have something to say about this post well the truth is I truly don't give a shit. My concerns in life are God,family, training and ganja. The govt is a travesty and an insult to my Intelligence in their redundant attempts to fuck the people here in the US and brainwash the weak minded, most of the cash I receive I do not claim , I am trying to beat the govt the best I possibly can, they always win but bending the rules here and there is OK with me.

You make good sense Havoc. The guy should be out of office. I also heard something last night that rang true: people will easily give up their freedoms if they can have security. Live Free or Die! NH Lisense Plate.

A privilege?! Bullshit, I was born here. I have a god given right to my freedom and the constitution is there to protect that. And it is my job to protect the constitution!

Havoc...excellent post man!

Yeah its tough to say that being free is a privileadge when in the USA's eyes it is a human right/rite But I know where hes coiming from, like count your blessings and shit b/c even though its shitty here there are places far more shitty. But if we considered freedom a priveledge, well I guess we wouldnt have any soon.

I think it would be hypocritical , I have issues with both sides more with democrats, the govt and politics to me is insulting in the way that they are excellent liars and bullshitters, dont really want anything to do with it, my vote isnt going to make or break anything, there isnt an answer to all of the problems, there hasnt been one president to back up all the bullshit he said was going to happen when he became president, there is no TOTAL solution. Also I am a busy person as far as my days go, when I get off work I am booked, dont feel like wasting gas to drive to vote for a FAKE bastard who in reality is just a bullshitter and con artist who has america believing in lies. Every president had his faults, I still believe to this day Clinton is on plenty of pharmaceutical drugs and still inhales, G. Bush probably still celebrates with and 8. Summary: Govt is bullshit and I dont want to be a part of it.

Havoc,

If you don't vote, then you have no right to complain about whoever is elected. You can't sit there and call it bullshit if you aren't involved in the process. That's real hypocrisy.

Do those of you who call Bush a blueblood plan on voting for Gore? Gore's Dad was a Senator - he's not exactly grassroots.

The Dude, Fredom is not a God given right. If you think it is, move to Iran - a religious state - and yet try to express yourself freely over there. That "God - given right to freedom" bullshit has to stop.

The Constitution gives you freedom. Our Armed Forces protect it.

New Prez = no change - regardless of what party.

Matt

Freedom is a God given right. If you don't have it, you must take it upon yourself to seize what is yours....your freedom. Our forefathers did just that so those of us born here afterwards may enjoy the rewards of those sacrifices that they made.

The armed forces do not protect the constititution. The people of this republic are each given the responsibility with citizenship to protect it, for ourselves and for our children. Ultimately, we are the government, we are the armed forces, we are in control. Unless we let someone take it from us...in which case, we would not be doing our job in protecting the constitution!

Havoc,

I understand your point, but I disagree. Often, voting comes down to picking the lesser of two evils.

There are small party candidates out there - parties that may interest you - although it's hard to get worked up when you know you won't win.

I have issues with both parties also - but perfect candidates are a little hard to come by.

I guess to me - voting is a really important right - even if it seems tedious and unproductive - it sounds extreme, but if we don't vote now, the day may come when we can't.
