waste of money, waste of time, waste of everything you can put behind waste. there is always someone closer......... Sure it starts out fine, but like they say, it never works out. If you care about the chick then you should just stay friends. A good friend is better than a crazy ex girlfriend. IP: Logged |

well, if i get a halfway decent job within the next few weeks i am gonna stay.. but that means selling my laptop, which i dont mind doing really, i can buy a desktop pretty cheap. its just this state fucking sucks. tennessee is stupid.. no way around it. i have more education then most people around here, but thats besides the point. i need a job, bad.. or i dont have a choice.. dont feel like chancing it and losing her... but she is going away to school for her final year, and its a half hour away.. i wont see her that much then anyway.. she plays soccer and tennis as well as all that studying bull shit IP: Logged |

Do what you need with your job in mind first. If you guys are meant to be (and I'm serious about this) then everything will work out. I moved 1700 miles from my boyfriend of three years for a career while he finished school. It was eight months of hell but it has all paid off as we are now together and I have a great career! Good luck job hunting. You might want to try Monster board - I got a lot of responses off of there. IP: Logged |

they SUCK!!! worth every hassle if you keep the one you love, but for me, she quit. that is something to consider, how serious do you think your partner will be? IP: Logged |

All my relationships have covered at least 500 miles, simply due to the enormous length of my pecker. IP: Logged |

Good luck...it can work...you both just have to make an effort to keep the bond between you strong...I know a lot of people who have had a long distance relationship...and now they are happily married!!! IP: Logged |

Dude follow your heart. I was in a long distant relationship for three years and it was one of the best I ever had. I loved travelling to see her and her travelling to see me, it was fun. she eventually moved to my city and we've been married for four years. So there are some that work out. IP: Logged |

True there are some that work out, but the norm is not favorable. As with all relationships both sides have to be committed to both the other person and the relationship itself. Most times, after awhile interest wanes and the party starts looking at other prospects. In other words, someone gets bored and cheats. They say that peopel grow closer with time apart, but they can also lose feelings with that same time. I'm usually an optimist. I just don't believe in them from personal experience. I would love for you to prove me wrong tho, because I think people need each other. Best of luck to you. IP: Logged |

Long Distance relationships = a terrible yet readily available excuse for cheating. Its too easy to bag someone when their lover isnt around at all. Slopain IP: Logged |

yeah i have one as we speak..my girlfriend who is from england lived in the states with me for about 2 years..she had to go home due to visa reasons..she left in dec so the last 7 months have been a long distance relationship..it truly sucks especially if u really care for the person..weve almost broke up twice since december..i have one more semester of school before i graduate with my bachelors so ill be moving over there with her..although it has been miserable i think it has brought us closer together in some respects but i also definately agree with rotten..the biggest problem i am having is that she is lonley and all these guys want to ask her out..im not there to be with her when she goes out so i could imagine what happens that she doesnt tell me..shes even had feelings of just ending our relationship and moving on..so it is hard but with a little work it can definately work out IP: Logged |

I was living with my ex for 2 1/2 years.. all of a sudden she decided to move to Texas with her grandma to take care of her and she needed to be independant and find herself again. A week later, she goes off and finds a new guy. I devoted all my money, time and heart with her. She brought me to the point of extreme depression and almost suicide. Girl will always look for the bigger, better deal.. its in thier nature.. always looking for the better, bigger cavemen.. long distance relationships do not work man.. cuz all girls are dogs... she will leave your ass behind for another guy IP: Logged |

Long distance....rarely work out. If you think something is up...you'll most likely be correct. Hope it works out..but if it doesn't...trust me when I say you'll grow huge. All my anger got channeled into the gym... IP: Logged |

see, what i am thinking is this: i will have alot of time to dedicate towards training, i would like to do a show, but my routine is shit right now... i spend way too much time with her she is going "away" to school anyway, so my moving back to michigan isnt that big of a deal in my mind cuz its just like she moved FURTHER then she is. also, i am thinkin that this will tell me if she is the one or not. we havent been together all that long, but even her mom says we make her sick... all lovey dovey and stuff. i looked at her the other night and thought, i am gonna be with her forever. so now i guess this will either prove my thought or disprove it... i trust her, she trusts me... but i look... ALOT!!! missgalaxy.... fill us in on the haps. cuz didnt you post and say how great your man was just a week ago????? IP: Logged |
