Dont relate this to just you, but the general feeling among your peers. What if anything would be the problem with decriminalizing marijuana. Not walk in a store and buy it legal, but decriminalizing personal amounts. Seeing that 60% of all drug users use only marijuana to me that says that would take away alot of the revenue pulled in by forfiture laws, probation fees, court cost, ect. They may end up spending more to fight it than they make from the later but just wondering what your take on it is. Just for the record I am no tree hugging hippy screaming for legalization of pot. I like it illegal. When joe blow can spend $1000 of his own money and pull out $12k per harvest(45 to 55days)I say godbless america and its draconian drug laws. The smart ones dont grow enough to have to worry about forfiture laws so the only draw back is a little probation and some drug classes. ------------------ IP: Logged |

2/1000wt MH lights = $600 pots, soil, fans, florecents = $200 seeds from canada =$100 ect=$100 PH at 6 to 7 It doesnt take any brains at all, just some hightimes and a little luck. IP: Logged |

I agree with decriminalization dude. It's no worse than alcohol. You just get different negative side effects when it's abused. Besides, how many marijuana induced fights or fits of rage do you ever hear about? ------------------ IP: Logged |

If its natural it should be legal. Steroids should be legal too. I don't use them, but at least they're used for BB, cigarettes are used to calm cravings and cause cancer. moe- why would you use metal halides over high pressure sodium bulbs for flowering?..MH is better for vegetative granted, but since you hopefully use the sea of green method, that is a miniscule fraction of the overall growth process... any thoughts/ comments? ------------------ IP: Logged |

Good post moe, for flowering there are endless methods, I personally drop the temp. about 10-15 degrees and throw some extra red spectrum flourescent in just for shits and giggles. Made a fucking mush of egg shells, fish emulsion and birth control, worked well though. IP: Logged |

I use 2 of each MH and HPS. Price wise and just starting out MH is a cheaper way to go. Also you have to have the MH if you are keeping clone mothers. The HPS will turn your strain to shit in less than a year. HPS does have more lumes per watt which in theory is better. MH is better for over all growth and if you are starting a budget garden you can always buy your hps lights after your first harvest. IP: Logged |
