![]() ![]() ![]() Going rate is $100 per hour per week. Most health insurance will cover it with a small copay. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() It depends on the area. It can be as high as $200 or as low as $90, before insurance. What is that you want, a psychologist/therapist who would concentrate on the causes of your condition, or a psychiatrist, someone who would treat the symptoms and prescribe medication? Psychiatrists usually charge more. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() i need solutions, not the root of my problems. i already know what my problems are. i just don't know how to fix them... ------------------ IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() You might know what your problems are but that's not the same as knowing and understanding how you got there in the first place. Fixing/repairing something without a solid understanding of its structure/parts is impossible. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ryry - Word of advice, find one you are comfortable with. If you don't like the first one look around. They are all different. Some good, some not so good. And the success you achieve will depend on your relationship with the therapist. BTW, going to one is nothing to be ashamed about. They can help you see things in your life such as habits or patterns of behavior that you cant always see for yourself. It can be a real eye opening experience. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Going rate is 100-150 per hour. with insurance you get about a 10 dollar co-pay per session. Very cheap and worth it. very very worth it. They usually put you on a medication... I'm on paxil...go for that, its got so few side effects, dilated pupils and dry throat (so similar to my OTHER medicine). paxil is 30 bucks for a months supply thru mail-order...but 60 for 3 week supply at the local pharmacy. you can make it work cheap. go for it.
