OK. i just got my new comp today with a cd-rom, dvd, and a burner or re-writer whatever ya call. it. but ya it is a re-writer. those bastards didnt give me a program for my DVD or RE-WRITER. anyone know of a site to d/l a FREE program taht will allow me to use my burner or dvd drive?? i want to make a music CD TONIGHT?!?!? any help. thanx.

I got nero on my computer. I think you can find it somewhere out there, maybe on the sites listed above, but nero is a good program. I bootleg cds out the ass and sell them.

lord, who manufactures your cd-r, they have the drivers. It has to be on your computer though, how computer friendly are you??

Go to Altavista.com and look up nero burn or any of thing to do with cd copying. If not email me and I will bring in some software for tommorow..

Kram....if you just got a new computer I guarantee it has the software needed for your cd-rewrite drive. Many times when you buy a new system they only install the minimum drivers to make the system work and you have to install all the other drivers youself. All cd-rewrite drives come with software to make them operate, if you are not sure how to install the correct drivers just contact whoever you bought the system from and they will tell you how to install them. As a last resort just contact the manufacturer of your cd-rewrite and just download the correct drivers for your particular make and model.
