well if you are talking about putting mp3 from napster on to a cd-rom. thats up to the software you have and the cd burner you have. cant be that difficult to do. nothing more than copying the files you have and saving them to the cdrom. but it varies like i said according to what you have.

you must convert the .mp3 files to .wav for most home/car CD players to recognize the data...it sucks because the decompression ratio is like 10:1...soon all CD players will recognize MP3's....so download, convert, burn....try MPEG suite and virtuoso...nice programs and support up to 12x burn rates...

Bro,

You can download Winamp from MP3.com and like 20 other places. That will convert your MP3's to wav files.

You'll need a CD re-writable drive to write them to a CD, otherwise email your MP3 files to friends witrh "burners", but remember that mp3's take up a tonof email account space.

Downloading with a dial up connection takes forever. Cable is better but if you can get into a big network with T3 or T6 you're better off.

Matt

use your MP3 player to convert the MP3 files to a wav. files and save all of the wav files into one folder in your C: drive then open the cd burner and when it wants the input file just open up the wav. file folder and pick the songs that you want to burn and after you have chosen ALL of the songs you want on the cd, just start the burning. DO NOT USE a
RE-writable disc because most regular CD players (portable, car, even computer) will not be able to read the disc. Use a regular recordable CD and you should be fine. If you use a Sonique MP3 player then you should convert one song at a time from MP3 file to wav. file otherwise it starts mixing up the songs and fuckin shit up. Im not sure about WinAmp.
