I'm doing the NPC Tournament of Champions in Los Angeles, CA, on Aug. 26th. May also do the Nationals in Oct. depending if I win the TOC or not. These pics are a few years old and I have put on 15 pounds since. Would like some constructive criticism and/or moral support from my friends and peers on the boards. I appreciate the feedback.

Perfect trainer, all you have received so far is praise and compliments, thats good and all but now I will give some constructive criticsm. Hell even Ronnie Coleman and other pros at the top are given some CC at times so and I would hope you would want some CC as well, first of all if your 215 now @ 8% , what are you going to try to come in at 194, 195. I looked at your pics closely and the only thing that came to mind was just a little more lat width, hell maybe you have already taken care of that, since those pictures were taken a while back I am sure your shape, density and maturity are improved as well, no ones physique is flawless , God knows I am never satisfied with mine, bottom line like I said above your physique is highly respectable but I just thought I could add some CC since no one has yet, good luck in your competition endeavors.

I want to thank everyone for their nice compliments, it means a great deal to me.Especially you havoc, i appreciate your constructive criticism. You know my lat width has always been my problem area. I have brought them up made them thicker with alot of rowing movements. Have busted my ass working those stubborn SOBs. Im fortunate that my detail back there is good or else i'd be in big trouble. We'll see what they look like this year on stage hopefully my rows have paid off. Anyone out there have big lats, I'll trade you a little arm size for some lat size lol.Anyways guys thanks again and your replys mean a hellava lot to me. I am proud to be a member of this site.

Perfect trainer:

Your looking great...noticed you could use some more lat width and I'd probably change your leg position in your front double bicep pose. You look very balanced with long muscle insertions. I'm a little concerned that your bodyfat is at 8% so close to a contest. However, I honestly think you have a great physique. I don't know how many shows you have won, but you will be winning some in the future. Good Luck! Let me know if you hit the Nationals in New York. My friend from East Coast Muscle will be covering it. I'll have him look for you.

Easton no disrespect but. Bodybuilding to me is about building the most aesthetically pleasing physique to the eye. Numbersdont necesarily men that much to me. MY goal has never been to build the biggest physique ever. But to look good and not over exaggerated. Nothing to the brothers out there that do it for the sheer enjoyment of getting as big as hummanly possible, i have alot of friends like that. They dwarf me but im happy with what i have. To answer your question i lift enough.

Looks good bro. I agree with Havoc about the lat width - but many of your other areas look really good. Your delts could maybe get a little bigger as well - or maybe they are huge and I can't tell in the pic.

Can you maybe put up a back pic? We're only seeing half of you - but you look good so far.

Matt

Hey perfect, let me first say that I think you have done a damn fine job sculpting your physique. You definitely have the goods to be competing on the National level but of course at that level it is somewhat of a different ballgame. Nonetheless, I think you will do well. I have to agree with the others about the lats. A back pic would help determine the rest including hams. Have your hams kept up with your quads? From the front I really don't see anything missing other than lat width. Quads, Pecs, Abs, Bi's, Tri's, Delts are all there and in good proportion at 5'9" and 215. You definitely should not compete lower than the top of the Lightheavies. I like your philosophy as well......on stage it is all about what you make them "think" they are seeing whether they really are seeing it or not. Measurements and poundages do not mean that much as long as there is sufficient stress to make the muscle grow....not a single measurement is taken on contest day other than bodyweight which is simply used to put you in a class. I have seen guys with lesser physiques place higher because the guy with the best physique did not know how to display it to his advantage. Pose, pose, pose and pose some more so that it just naturally and gracefully flows. Watch for the little things such as feet and leg positioning when flexing upper body. Best of luck at TOC.

I just wanted to say you got it going on. You should place nicely. That being said I like to know some of your history on cycle and what you look like now. You said those picture were a couple years old. So you are better than that now.
Nice work - thanks for any info.

Flex B - I would put him PT and CJAC in the same class.

pizza man, I don't like messing with prescription diuretics. I use this natural herb called juniper berry concentrate. The day before the show as i cut my water i take two caps with every meal. And it keeps me going regularly.I usually shed about 5 lbs of water in a 24 hour period. You ncan buy these at any supplement store.

Pizza man i don't know if you can lose 15 lbs in 3 days. If your looking a little smooth it's probably because you your'e still holding on to a little bf%.My experience is most of the time your going to lose between 5 to 7 lbs of water. I hope this helps you out, good luck in the masters.
