Seriously though. My first act of turning on the computer was ALWAYS opening napster. Then clicking on a few songs, browsing for new ones on the radio. Blaring the best music EVER, Stevie Wonder. Damn, now I guess Ill have to get used to opening Scour Exchange. IP: Logged |

try switching to scour exchange You can scan your hard drive for existing MP3 files and they will be tranferred. Thats what I did when I got kicked off Napster. Have fun! ------------------ IP: Logged |

What is this madness? Napster is going away but the concept is not!! All that has to happen is someone fire it up from another country. That injuction doesn't mean a god damn thing in Bolivia. Isn't this the WORLD WIDE WEB? Or then there's this solution: Set it up off-shore. Napster may be gone but free music is everyhwere. Remember, it ook a SUPREME COURT ruling to legalize VCR's. Fear not Matt IP: Logged |

Well, you're in luck...The US Appeals Court just said they can stay (for awhile at least). ------------------ IP: Logged |

When did this happen. I was under the impression that Napster was shutting down at Midnight Pacific Time Tonight? That is true about the overseas and off shore servers though... that is a great idea. Why didn't they already do this so when the judge ordered them too stop... they could just transfer to another country. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Napster is here still - they won an appeal - there has been no trial yet - these are all preliminary injunctions. Matt IP: Logged |
