I just tried to log on to napster and it said my user name and password were no longer any good. So I made another name that didn't work. Its got me classified as firewall and won't let me on. Stupid assholes had to sue them b/c they weren't getting royalties. Well boo-hoo cry me a fuckin river. Oh well I seen that site on another post with about 50 or so other programs just like napster, so I'll go there. ------------------ IP: Logged |

There still has been no trial. The shutdown order (subsequently overturned) was merely an injunction. The RIAA (musci industry) can appeal this rukling to either the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals or the Supreme Court. It is likely that a trial will resolve this., but not anytime soon. My take on it: The recording industry has been fucking us for years. CDs are cheaper to manufacture than tapes, but we pay more. Most albums are 3-4 good songs with 15 pieces of shit on there. Many of you may not know this, but it actually took a SUPREME COURT RULING to legalize VCRs. Similar issue about recording TV shows. Anyway, fuck the music industry. Free stuff - I like it.
