![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Were do I start: First - I have spent my adult life studing weapons and war. I have made it my business to know about weapons (guns and knives). I can't believe what they are doing and how they have built some of thier pieces. Why would you mount a tac star flash light on the end of Berreta 92f. The light is longer than the gun and takes all the handling qualities away from the pistol. The last place I would put one would be there. I know they go in low light situations but what happen to cross hand carry of a flash light. Second - this bother me more than the gun items. They were making it out like these guys were just something f-special. So they take you in there gym and show you a couple guy benching. Well wonder butt starts out with 135. Hes slammin it around and making a show of it. He reps up and throws down more weight. They load up to 245 and this guys is bouncing it off his chest like I haven't seen since high school. He pulls down 4 reps and and racks up - the show cuts away to there "superior strength and weapons are a crucial part of the over powering program" or some BS. I just don't get why they build these guys up so high. They should actually make them look like normal people which they are doing a hard job....But no! We are going to make them out to be some kinda superman - NOT. Then COPS always wonder why someone who isn't the lame public think there a bunch of idiots. I respect my local guys but just can't believe TV would build it up like that. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Dude, I saw the show. At first it looked impressive, but after closer inspection, yeah, its overblown for sure. Just another media attempt to magnify the power of the police and government. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() In regards to mounting tactical lights on a 92F, it in no way henders the functionality of the weapon. I have put many rounds through the the weapon in both modes and found little difference. The only down side is drawing the gun, but when in a tactical situation you'll have it out and at the ready. The crossover is poor because you take away stability for multiple shots (double and triple taps) and you also place an item in both hands, not allowing for a quick free hand. I agree with you on the show, they do have one of the best teams, but they arn't supermen. Hey, but the media always tries to make more of what is really going on, look at how they portray steroids. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I guess I like things simple - nothing on my pistols except night sights. I don't even like comps unless there internal. Don't like the increased draw length. The one on the show was a good three inches longer than the pistol. Also chances are they would be drawing it, because everyone one of the was carrying a HK. So it would be a hell bent gun and I would want it out and at that point light be would matter. I would be looking to clear a path. If a couple clip out of the HK did fix it - I woudl be fighting for the door and yellin clear. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() have any of you seen that breifcase that H&K makes. You just mount the weapon in it and you can shoot it while it is closed. I thought all that was james bond shit, but they make one that is designed for one of their guns. ------------------ IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() the cops that were working out were also the best looking ones as far as shape goes. if you saw the whole team you'd probably see some fat jokers. the government needs to stop with the swat team and change them into a squat team. ------------------ IP: Logged |
