Bros:

Anybody out there remember their high school Latin? I'm looking for a new logo to put on one of my workout shirts. Reminded of Descartes, "Cogito, ergo sum" ("I think, therefore I am") and wanted to do a riff on that, "I lift, therefore I am." Best I can remember back to three years of Latin in Junior High, my translation is "Levaro, ergo sum".

Can anybody check that for me? If you can do it, I'll email you a good site for getting a custom lift shirt (tank top) made cheap!

Thanks!

Bjaarki

Sorry, can't help you with the latin (took 5 years of German), but I'm interested in that site.

I realize that I can no longer conjugate the verbs. However I still have my latin dictionary. The root verb is tollere, as cogitare is to cogito. I'm not sure the form should be tollero so I'll do some research.

It's "Tollo, ergo sum". This is one of at least a dozen words that mean to lift.
