In my lifetime I have had the privledge of going on some magnificent excursions. In my travels I have seen what the Hand of God can create and tend to catch myself marveling in them at times. So far the Cayman Islands are the most aesthetically pleasing for me personally. The Caymans are made up of 3 islands(Grand Cayman, Little Cayman and Cayman Brac). The Caymans combine crystal blue water, marine life, unique vegativity, animals and creatures not seen on the regular, sunsets words can't articulate and some of the finest marijuana and pure Ganja that the soil of the earth could offer especially on the 2 smaller islands where there are spots that humans have not even set foot on. When one combines all these elements there is a brief moment where you realize that this may actually be heaven on earth or close to it. My next venture is taken me to the hundreds of islands that make up the Land of Fiji, the weather, surf and plethera of Indica strains that this place offers is a true gift from God. In retrospect at this present time the Caymans are my favorite spot on this earth, maybe Fiji will change my opinion, my question is where is your favorite spot on earth and why.

Been all over alot of great places but one of my favorites is close to home. A friend has a 40 acre lake about 20 minutes from my house. I go over every couple weeks and slam the fish and its loaded. My wife lays around in her thong topless the whole time. Was there all yesterday afternoon. Man I love that place. Best thing is she likes to go and I can't say I mind a bit.

one of my ex-girlfriends was from georgetown, grand cayman island...she was definately the most beautiful girl i will probably ever have the priveledge of knowing...some of the most serene moments of my life were spent with her on that georgous island....unfortunately she was killed in a car wreck on that same island four years ago....two weeks after she graduated from emory university....i still miss her profoundly and don't think i could ever enjoy myself again in the caymans...would be way to weird...

Special Bill, sincerely sorry to hear that, but maybe a trip there would do more good than bad, what I mean is some of the best moments I have had in my life is memories of others and certain situations that I have traveled upon. At certain times in life memories is all one has, they are important and a vital piece to this puzzle of life.

The gym. you cannot grow muscle at a beach shore. or any where else except at a home gym. if there was no gym I'd say it would be one of those carribean islands or something similar.

ryry I am from Washington originally but now live in the armpit of the world....Utah. We lived in Portland for twelve years also and used to drive to Olympia every weekend where we kept our boat. Also spent a lot of time at Hoods Canal and cruising around a bit in the Seattle area. I miss the sound all the time,
the Great Salt Lake has nothing in it but Bryne Shrimp.

so far I have to say Ambergris Caye in Belize. I went down there on a scuba trip a few years ago. When we got off the plane I accidently stepped in a puddle of water and took off my shoes and never put them back on the whole week we were there. The diving was the best I ever experienced, the nights were beautiful. More than once I fell asleep at night under the palms with a drink in my hand. Slept for hours and woke up about 4 am to a sky full of stars and a cool breeze coming off the ocean. A truly relaxing island.

Holy shit, I cant believe there is somebody else here that has been to Mono Lake. Pretty small place. My favorite place was with my EX-girlfriend next to the Illinois River in Oregon. Haven't been back since though. Therefore, I do a lot of the driving thing now.

Switzerland---fantastic close-up view of mountain peaks, plus clean air and clean cities. If you ever stay in a mountainside inn, you can hear all the little cowbells off in the distance...puts you to sleep in an instant.

Callaway Gardens in Georgia---it stays the same temperature year round. Plus it looks like heaven fell on earth. Great place for meditation.

Munich, Germany---lots of breweries with the absolute best tasting beer I've ever had. Good scenery too.

I love everything about Australia,
Especially where I live in Brisbane, 10 mins from the CBD, 30mins to the best beaches in the world, 45mins to the fringe mountains of the Great Dividing Range, 60mins to Surfers Paradise (the best party city in Aus), about 90mins and you can taste outback Australia.
But best of all, the government supplies syringes and needles etc for free.
