My boy called me up yesterday and asked me to fill in for a kid on his team. I told him I would. Havn't been on the ice in about a month. First shift out there some kid got the puck near our blue line he must not have seen me coming but I trucked this kid a good 3-4 feet. The coach put me in on D, I'm a center but didn't complain. The other team mopped the floor with us, the team I played for sucked dick. We lost 13-2. In the 3rd a fight broke out. My boy fucked up 2 kids, busted one open and made the other cry. Then the coach decided to put me up on O. I had to have leveled bout 10 kids and did aight overall. In the locker room the coach said they wouldve won if the original roster was there, implyin it was my fault. Then some smoe said noone in the locker room hit. That kid must've had his head up his ass when I was out there putting people on the ice. Biggest bunch of ungrateful players I've ever met, except for the asst coach and the kid who asked me to play the game. It felt good to be on the ice again, made me not able to wait for next season to start. (I credit the leveling to heavy leg days) ------------------ IP: Logged |
