What sacrfices have you made to go to the weight room?


Mine ->

a) Missed Batchlor Party with hot stripper
b) Almost missed Best friend wedding

dates, parties, gatherings, you name it i probably missed it. the last year i've been so focused on hitting the weight room and with school in all, i pretty much had to give up b-ball. used to play everyday, now i haven't touched one in since April

I feal you pain ryry I am a typical hard gainer so I haven't played basketball in a long time, I used to play daily also. Sucks but I can't be wasting those calories.

I gave up b-ball for the weights too except I wanted to start playing again and I sucked because I was a baller and I couldn't crossover or any thing without skrewing up. I would skip school some days just to workout. I got behind but oh well. school teached some stupid S__T and I can't wait for college so I can get that over soon enough. I still suck at b-ball. I may never be able to play the same again.

ive missed it all..having a gf, graduation, parties, school dances. having friends..you name it..i dont give a fuck..thats not what i want to be doing, its all good the way i see it.

Never missed anything huge mostly things like the ones mentioned above. It's hard sometimes but I think it's worth it. What bothers me is that my friends and girls that I date don't understand why I'm doing this nor do they support it.They just don't understand the commitment it takes to succeed at weight training.

Lets see,I have successfully missed group drinking, group smoking, grouping sex with my highschool and college peers. I couldnt be happier, my askew priorities have lead me to a successful venture academically and in bodybuilding. My highschool graduates are all groosly overweight, inept, unsightly... need i go on?

I'm in the same boat JL. Those folks came and went. Socializing now is kind of difficult with most people my age that are single doing the same old stuff. But I enjoy life a lot more now, no doubt about it!

Very good question. I really can't remember one really good thing, but I know I have missed Christmas dinner to go to the gym. Really nothing can stand in my way of lifting. I love it!!

Morning cardio jogging=fresh air sunshine and I love it. Yes, hard gainer here and I have to hang up my running shoes during the months i want to put on gains. I been bulking most of this year. On a good note, it wont be long before i see my abs again, seems I can get ripped pretty easy. See ya, I'm going jogging.

The one thing I really miss is 2 hours of sleep in morning. The only time I have to go to the gym is 4:30AM so I have to wake up 2 hours earlier them normal 4 times a week.

I really don't miss it, still have a gut to remember it, but I liked going out to the clubs and getting real messed up and then eating like a slob with a bunch of hotties at 5 am... Cheeseburgers, fries, chocolate shakes...aughhhh..

Well now it's tuna fish, grilled chicken, egg whites and myoplex shakes for the past 2 months
