No question that he has one of the most incredible physiques ever, but his attitude and character sometimes come into question. Like last year at the Olypmia when they announced Ronnie Coleman the winner, his actions weren't to classy. I met him once at a promotion at one of the local nutrition stores and he seemed fairly nice and answered everyone's questions. IP: Logged |

I had alot of respect for him around 2 years ago. Now he kind of whines too much and he DOES have calf implants, a champion doesnt need implants and the worst thing is this bastard has over 150 synthol injection sites, thats ridiculous and for what , to be Mr. Olympia, life isnt worth that, nothing is. I used to really dig Flex. Then I saw a interview with him where he said that he hates working out and when he retires, he's not going to work out at all, and that he just does it all for the money (not for the love AND money). Totally turned me off. IP: Logged |

I used to really like Flex but he seems like a slacker to me. Whether it's not coming in top shape, or using gallons of synthol, or getting implants or saying he won't train after he retires it all spells out one thing to me, SLACKER. It a shame because he may have the greatest bodybuilding genetics ever. When he won the Arnold he was at he best and I don't think anyone today (even Ronnie) could beat that Flex. IP: Logged |

I just saw the new flex and ronnie looks way better than flex does. besides who wants a cheater to win mr. O. weider probably heard about flex and made sure he will never win. he cries to much and he needs to shut up if he said he is gonna stop when he retires. Ive known the guy before he even turned pro, his arrogance preceeds's him. I worked out along side him and unfortunately he hasn't changed his attitude, iguess when you have a posse of about 15 always kissing your ass, it must be hard to stay grounded.I do say this for him he hasn't changed, wheter it's good or bad you have to respect him for that. He was blessed with the most incredible genetics ever. Too bad he couldn't be a better ambassador to the sport. I must say that flex wheeler must have the best genetics in bodybuilding today . But I still think he should take it easy on the synthol because right now he is basically a walking billboard for synthol . Flex probably does have some of the finest genetics to grace a BB stage, his back being especially notable. But Ronnie has got him there if you look at those two next to each other on a lat spread. Ronnie has taken back to another level that Flex hasn't reached. And the "cheating" issue is pretty much a moot point at this level of competition... anything goes. And Ronnie is an excellent ambassador to the sport. He and his GF, Vickie Gates were at a show I was at and they were so damn friendly and personable with the fans. Flex used to have a flawless physique but he started getting all obsessed with this size thing and thats where he went wrong. From the loads of growth hormone to the the synthol. If you look at him at this years Arnold's clasic it looked like he toned down on the synthol maybee he learned from his mistake. As far as his attitude yeah it sucks but what can we do? IP: Logged |

If you guys think Flex is the only one using synthol......didn't Milos almost die..... Anyway I don't really like the guy. Turning his back on second place was 2nd rate. Shaking Ronnie's finger - Ronnie wasn't a judge....... sour is kinda right. these guys that go and take their juice don't look big enough to be a pro but by all means they have size. And also I only see 10 % of my gym doing something. the rest visit. then there are the ones that go to try to look for chicks. I rad in flex magazine that he wanted to compete at the NOC. But he didn�t because he want to give a chance to some other bbs to earn some money and qualify for the Mr.O. Pretty arrogante, isn�t it? Nobody forces Flex to train at 5 am in the morning. He has no real job, so he could train at a later time. With all the stimulants he takes, don't you think he could put a little more effort into his training, even at 5 am? Maybe he should go to bed a bit earlier. This guy is all drugs and genetics. If he would possess the mental toughness of a Dorian Yates, Ronnie Coleman and not to mention Arnold, Flex could be a multi Mr. Olympia by now. Well.....I guess everyone (besides myself and a few others)hates Flex. He is still my favorite (synthol or not). No one says anything about Kevin Levrone's shoulders or that one Black guy from England's massive triceps.
