Hey, Ive heard of those mini compact disc walkmans and wanted to know how much they cost, which is the best, etc. Or maybe You prefer a regular cd walkman, but it cant skip at all! I gotta block out all the JACKOFFS at my new gym. IP: Logged |

Dave, sony makes a great skip proof personal cd player. Its silver very light and will not skip. Great shock protection technology. It was 70 dollars. When compared to personal mp3 players at 260$ go cd. The included headphones blow so buy some extra sony's i suggest the ones that wrap from the base of the neck then go over the ear ------------------ IP: Logged |

can you jog with the new CD players?....i can jog with my MP3 player and the music is totally free....look at the RIO...on headphones, i've found the ear bud ones (the ones that go in your ear) can get annoying when your heartrate is up...my ears start to kinda throb around them, giving me an unpleasant sensation...it's probably just me with my weird little ears... I have the same one Twisted Steel is talking about...it good...no skips and I bounce around a lot...he's right about the headphones too...has anyone tried the kind that actually wrap around your ear to hold them in place? ------------------ IP: Logged |

Panasonic makes the abosolute best sport cd player I ever used and I've tried quite a few. It's 40sec anti-shock meaning it would have to be shaken for a straight 40sec before it would skip. It's never skipped a second for me and I've been on the treadmill with it. But I use Aiwa in the ear headphones because the ones that come with it suck. Those Sony headphones that wrap around the ear are the best. IP: Logged |

Panasonic makes the best one hands down, that sony crap can't keep up at all. Just bought one yesterday SL-SW880 go buy it, can't say much about the shaker headphones so you might wanna buy the SL-SW860 and get some good headphones

Superdave: Problem with CD players with antishock is that they won't play custom CD's. I personally like to burn my own CD's to get just the tracks I like, and my Panasonic (E2 is right, they beat SONY) won't play 'em. I'm back to using a casette player, a Sony Walkman. I make my own tapes from the CD's I burn, and since every track is a good one, I don't have to worry about the slow rewind anf find problem with casettes. For headphones, I like to be able to pop mine off easily when a bro wanders up for a shake and a hello, then get 'em back on quickly for the next set. I find the kind that wrap around your head or the base of your neck, with a funny deal that fits inside rather than outside your ear, is best. BTW, I get all my stuff like that from Ebay. Save about 75 percent that way. Hope this helps. Bjaarki ------------------ BECOME SOMEONE'S HERO! IP: Logged |

Bjaarki, That's what I like about in the bud earphones. If someone has something to say to me that I want to listen to I can just quick pull one the the earphone outta my ear but those little bud earphone do wear out quicker than all others. Panasonic - Best CD players I might give those Sony wrap arounds a try but they do look like big yellow hearing aids to me. IP: Logged |
