It has been brought to my attention that there has been way too much profanity used as of late. It would seem that I am by far the worst offender. So now, I will stop using the "F" word (except in EXTREME cases, of course) if all of those that regularly post disgusting, moronic, offensive and useless comments, particularly the ones that are degrading to both men and women will also abstain from doing such. Fitness Lady , a idle word is different for everyone, the first bible was written in Hebrew, fuck , shit, cunt etc etc, didnt exist, then we have the Roman and Greek translations, not to mention the Yahwists, Elohists, Priestly and Deuteronomical versions, these are just a few different redaction periods the Bible has gone through, so next time you post something make sure you have complete understanding, see religion was one of my minors in college and to this day is a full time hobby for me, idle words are in the mouth of the person who expresses them. I wasn't going to reply to Flady's post because A) my original post was not directed at her. B) call me stupid but I honestly didn't understand where she was headed with her post. C) my momma always said, "If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all." - to this I would like to add the word productive. D) I have no beef with Flady. E) I don't like to get in the middle of religious battles. Things get much too heated when you stray away from fact and start arguing feelings, hence I feel that in such an arguement new ideas will probably NOT be born. A more likely result will be hurt feelings, misunderstanding and hate. It has been my experience that few people can step outside of themselves and argue intelligently w/o getting their own feelings getting tangled in the mix - no flame, just fact. (I am not excluding myself) Having said this. I started this post to prove a point about how some people all of a sudden started taking offense to my raw language when I had read many a rude, foul, disgusting, and personally offensive post often times authored by the "objectors" themselves. I could've gone off again and again, but this is the United States (al least that is my location) and these sophomoric morons have the same right to freedom of speech THAT I DO. So if I do not like their posts however offensive I may find them, and if I feel that they are so far beneath me then, of course, I exercise my freedom to scroll on and ignore them. After all they are morons and there is nothing that I could possibly say that will change them. Who am I except another board member? If there had been a rule in the code of conduct that said "no foul language" regardless of how witty I think I am I would be forced to abide or go elsewhere. I am grown and do possess an extensive vocabulary and feel that I can express myself JUST FINE (for those of you who do not possess the same capabilities that I do) WITHOUT THE USE OF FOUR LETTER WORDS! Whether I choose to employ them is MY DECISION. If one is so offended by my posts they can simply exercise the same rights that I have many a time and SCROLL ON! PS What exactly is it that you were trying to say with your post Flady? Brotha Havoc - I would LOVE to have theological conversation with you! Though I don't think I possess the knowledge on the topic that you do (matter of fact - I KNOW I DON'T) but the topic is somewhat of a hobby of mine also!
