I got 10 reps at 90lb for flat dumbell presses and 6 reps out at 350lb in the deadlift last week and I reckon these are my best lifts to date. How do these compare to your percieved best lifts bearing in mind the form of the movement.

Squat 500lbs
Bench Press 335lbs
Deadlifts 585lbs (I think or maybe 500lbs, not sure if it was 5 or 6 plates)

I do a couple of sets of incline dumbbell presses after I do flat bench and incline bench with a barbell. I usually do the 105's for 6-8 reps. As for deadlifts, I only do stiff-legged ones now, after squats on leg day. I usually get 275 for 6-8 reps.

Thick Dog, how deep is deep. I put a couple of plates under my heels and lower myself until i physically cannot go any lower. I have never seen anyone squat as deep as myself. I have done this for 8 reps with 285lbs. I have a hard time believing that anyone could squat as deep as this for 4 or more plates.
Do you use knee wraps?

You can probably divide them into 3 categories: half squats(parallel), 3/4 full, and full(ass to the floor). I usually go down about 3/4, or a little under parallel. Depending on who you are talking to, "deep" can be considered anything below parallel, since 75% of the people I see squatting do 1/4 squats.

I hate when people start saying stuff like that. I go all the way to the bottom as far as I can go. Always talking about full range of motion. Why? Full range of motion isnt neccesary for muscle growth. I hope you dont beleive that half reps build have muscle shit. Its all about time under tension. If I do deadlifts am I supposed to do it on a bench and squat down and far as humanly possible to encourage gains?
Think about it. Fullrange squats 275lbs 6 reps. Half reps 405 15reps. More weight, more time under tension. More weight and reps to compensate.

With a full range of motion you are going to build strength at all angles of the squating manouvre. Incorporating both full and half squats into a program would be the best way to go. I can do parralell squats with 4 plates for 10 reps, however i believe that full squats are far more demanding. Im almost dying with 2 and 3/4 plates on the bar that is why i have a hard time believing that anyone can squat to the floor with 4 or more plates.

Parallel is a full squat by PL standards. PL tournaments require you to go parallel not ass to the floor. Most powerlifters go below parrallel so there will no question as to whether or not the squat was deep enough. No one want to do a squat with 600lbs just to see a red light because someone didn't think you went deep enough.

My most intense set ever was 3 weeks ago I squated 445 for 15 ass to the floor--racked the bar turned ghostly white--vision narrowed--woke up on my back from my brother rubbing smelling salt under my nose.No other way to work legs
