![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() One thing that really pisses me off is when people, girls or guys, think they're 'the shit,' especially when they're not. You can see this syndrome everywhere, fat bitches wearing skimpy clothes, skinny punks in wife beaters, etc... I of course recently fell victim to this when that "I have a cute face, nice ass, nice tits, some guys say I'm a goddess" scary-ugly bitch lured me into her lair for what she hoped would be a one night stand. I swear I have the opposite problem which isn't much better I guess, but at least I know where I stand. I think my tech teacher said it best: "If you're bad, you don't have to say you're bad, you just ARE bad." IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() your exactly right, the way you carry yourself is very important. carry yourself w/ utmost confidence and a sense of wellbeing, and you w/ always have self pride. I have posted a few things in the past about my wifes and mine swinging lifestyle, some of you slammed me most of you enjoyed the info. The ones that didnt ridicule it are the ones w/ character and unjudgemental. they are the ones that take people for who they are. Walk into the gym w/self confidence and hold your shoulders back and dont make fun of others you will come out a better person. BUT if you see somebody make fun of others PUT THEM IN THEIR PLACE... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I'm wondering though...why can't overweight "bitches" have self confidence...if they want to wear tight/short clothes and they feel good about it, why shouldn't they? I understand that "we" might think it doesn't look good...but if they feel good, who cares? Now someone who acts like they are the shit as in asshole attitude - well that doesn't look good on anyone, even if they have spectacular bodies. I get your point Frackal...I just thought I'd play the devil's advocate. ------------------ IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() That is a good point skydancer... but I feel that (fat girls in skimpy clothes) is a prime example of 'I-look-good-even with-cottage-cheese-legs-and-jelly-rolls" false self image. The female version of the "I-really-am-buff-even-though-I-weigh-120lbs.-See-I-think-that-was-a-muscle!" tank top wearing punks. I mean, you wouldn't take a beat up volvo to a fancy car show would you? Not unless you want to be laughed at. It's not quite the same thing but... IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() LOL FlexB.... Frackal - I know what you mean. Don't think that I haven't looked at many girls/guys and what they are wearing and say - Okay do you NOT OWN A MIRROR!!!!???? I've seen plenty of girls come in my office in shorts that their jello hangs out of and just think UCK! I guess its all about taste. Good comparison with the car thing too. ------------------ [This message has been edited by skydancer (edited July 17, 2000).] IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I need 2 40's of OE to think like you sometimes pizza man, hehe no flame man. I agree though, I often wonder where somepeople draw their self confidence from - I usually just assume its overcompensation for a weak self esteem. I got the most respect for people that are confident and quiet. Slopain IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I hear you too pizza man. There is this girl I work with that probably has some cellulite, but oh man, if she wasn't attached...like I said before, I'd prop her up on the coleslaw (LOL) table and f--- --- -- - ---- ----- --- - ----------!!!!!!!!!! My question is: Do you think these people truly think that they're 'all that,' or are they trying to hide they're insecurities with "false confidence?" Of course it depends on the person but.... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It does totally depend on the person...I think I have yet to meet one person who doesn't have SOME insecurites... I agree with the quiet confidence statement though...my experience has been that the more and louder someones SAYS they are "all that" (in action, dress, tone of voice etc)the more insecure they are. Prop her up on the coleslaw table?? LOL - now that I would like to see!! ------------------ IP: Logged |
