Anyone who plans on smashing the pain barrier, should realize the valuable effects of DEATH METAL. Many a day I have comtemplated skipping a workout, but then I slipped some DEATH METAL in the deck and transformed. We all the ability to get "sick", and I find that DEATH METAL makes it very easy for me to conquer the torture of grueling leg workouts and the like. DEATH METAL should be a part of your arsenal, if it is relentless and unyielding lifting you seek. I love all types of music and even listen to classical music at times........But when it's time to slam your skull and get in the power-rack you can bet DEATH METAL will have found it's home in my walkman. I thank my friend THE AXEMAN, for opening my mind to DEATH METAL and showing that there's more metal out there than just Metallica(which I used to listen to frequently). Take the trip to your local record store, you will be glad you did, but be warned it's not for the faint of heart or those that very impressionable. I only use it as a tool in the gym or before, and it doesn't represnt the way I live my life outside the gym in any way shape or form.

My favorite band is probably SIX FEET UNDER, their best album is WARPATH. Below you will find some lyrics from one of their songs.

WAR IS COMING
Prepare yourself for the worst its coming soon
I believe in those foretold prophecies of doom
They say the end is close, its coming fast
Not every single one of us is gonna last
So, stand and fight or kill yourself right now
itll be one less motherfucker to kill
Skin shot, burned, stabbed, scorched and torn
This pain is real - you cant ignore...

War is coming

Arm yourself with the right to kill at will
Shoot to kill its them or you
Time to choose, time to choose or die
Bloods pouring, from the hole in your side
Take the pain - itll focus and stenghten you
Take the pain - or your lifes fuckin through
Face the pain - let it become part of you
Take the pain

War is coming

Prepare yourself for the worst its coming soon
I believe in those foretold prophecies of doom
They say the end is close, its coming fast
Not every single one of us is gonna last
So, stand and fight or kill yourself right now
itll be one less motherfucker to kill
Skin shot, burned, stabbed, scorched and torn
This pain is real - you cant ignore...

War is coming

He's right, this probably does belong on the chat board, but that probably could be said about half of the topics on the first page.
Oh well, here goes..

Death metal rules!
I grew up on it.
Fear factory, slayer, and napalm death is what i listen to 99% of the time when I train.
Death Metal rules!

GERAFACE,
I like RAGE and almost any metal. I too used to knock DEATH METAL, I thought Metallica was the end all. My idea of DEATH METAL was Henry Rollins, which I believe to be much less appealing than a talented band like Six Feet Under. Listen to some SFU sometime, it may not sound pretty at first.....but it has the potential to grow on you very quickly.

Diver,
Within my circle of brothers who use DEATH METAL to their advantage, there is not one under 250 lbs. None of us even have an earing. You have a very small mind and intellect, hence your ignorant sterotyping. If I or any of my brothers where in your presence I would promise you that you would be VERY NERVOUS. We would see who the punk is then. I await.

Diver,
one more note....my brothers and I are top level Strongman Competitors. I welcome you to come to a competition sometime and call us denim jacket wearing punks. I would PAY big money to see that. You may want to get some fake teeth before you come, you will need them when all of yours are smashed out of your face.

I love metal, I live for concerts. Goin to see metallica next saturday at Chicago motor speedway, hell ya. I actually still like metallica, not their new stuff but i'll never stop loving their old stuff. Rock on brothers, and fuck the chat board, this is a good post, at least it wasn't some newbie asking "can I do a clomid only cycle?" good post

For my workouts its always the same CD--"How will I laugh tommorow when I can't even smile today" by Suicidal Tendancies... I play the drums (rather poorly I might add) but its the guitar stuff in this that gets me going..As soon as I hear the first song the blood gets pumping and I know its time to work. If anyone is interested I'll send you an MP3 of the first song...if thats ok to do here??

Napalm Death, Deicide, Bolt Thrower, Slayer, Cannabal Corpse, Six feet under (two guys from Cannabal Corpse, Obituary), Carcass. Any of these bands will get those last two reps up. This definetely belongs in Chat.

Actually Glen, there is nothing more violent than the pit at a Slayer concert during "Angel of Death".

And as for your statement about Fear Factory going soft??!!??!!??!!??...get real bro.

For those of you looking for the sickest heaviest music...check out:
Cradle of Filth, Tiamat, and Emperor, especially Cradle of Filth's albums, "Vempire" and "Dusk and her embrace"

I grew up on the old school stuff, but I adapt the new as well...and your right, its great in the gym. Funny when people wonder why you make those evil faces during a lift when you got the headphones on...heh..heh..

Later,
WCP

slipknot rules!!! but for a sui, it's gotta be suicidal tendencies. but for a workout you gotta listen to NoFX, Rage, or pop in Korn and learn what aggreSSion is all about.

what i cant stand about metal bands today is that they try to mix that rap bullshit into their music, making it sound stupid. even slipknot does that, and it just bothers the hell out of me. a real band dosnt need a dj spinning mixes in the backround
