PANTERA FUCKING ROCKS THERE ISNT A BAND OUT THERE THAT IS AS HARDCORE AND PURE FUCKING RAGE LIKE PANTERA IS. I like all kinds of music, but pantera is at the top of the fucking pile. Pantera kicks ass. Walk is one my favorite songs to lift to. Reinventing The Steel is pretty good. At least they didn't sellout like Metallica. I heard their tour video is dope. I got to check it out on DVD sometime. IP: Logged |

No one can change my mind on this, you can have Pantera, fagget ass Korn or Limp Muffin, Godsmack etc etc whoever doesnt matter, there isnt one band out there that comes close, not even remotely close to RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, their music in all aspects is better and the lyrics and strength of De La Rocha is incomparable, they dominate in any and all categories. Here we go Moe, there isnt one guitarist who comes close to Tom Morello's skill, even that fag Van Halen said Morellos(RAGE's guitar) is on top and taking it to a new level, pantera is ok, there lyrics arent shit, Rage is way above anyones league, the entire band is a complete cipher 360 degrees of perfection with a following that cant be matched. Agree somewhat, bill, you like hip hop huh, its kind of a hobby of mine. Heres a list: First Nas(everything else sucks) First Black Moon and First Heltah Skeltah( anything else from the BCC is garbage) Digable Planets(all) De La(all) GZA(first one) First Wu(raw) Mobb Deep(most of their shit is downright eerie) Black Star, mos def , talib Common Sense Any verse from the RZA cant be matched until that Bobby Digital bullshit. Beasties Technology is Technology, with this system the govt is going to win regardless, they will get you in some way, money has to be made. Tom Morrelo doesn't necessarily have the best skills, but he is exploring what sounds he can make with what is available - that little jewel called "creativity" which I would say is better than skill any day. Pantera is ok, Rage used to be cool -- both are far, far away from being hardcore though. Right now I have to vote for Slipknot, Kitty, Big Black and Deadfront -- these guys define hardcore.
