![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I was thinking about getting a part-time evening job to help supplement the income. GNC seemed like a natural place to look (protein and vitamin discounts). Only problem -- somebody told me that GNC part-timers only get min. wage (or something close) and that wouldn't be worth it to me. Can you guys clue me in? I know actual rates will vary by region, but give me an idea of whether it's ok or lousy pay. Thanks! IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I worked there a while back. Like 8 years ago in college. I was making $6hr I think. Minimum wage was $4.25hr back then. It varies from store to store. It can be a regional thing. Plus some GNC's are franchises which means a private person not the GNC corporation owns it and he can pay employees whatever he wants sometimes it's minimum wage, sometimes it's more. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() yeah it is min. plus commision which is like $2 to $8 depending on item. You add in that you get to take home shit people return, eat protein bars for free all day long it kicks ass. You can have your friend buy a shit load of what ever at one gnc then bring it back to the one you work at and its yours. They dont put shit back on the shelves.hehehe plus you get a 30% discount. ------------------ IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This is a helluva job market and it is very hard for employers to find even barely competent low wage workers. Just go ask the manager. Or you can apply, and if you're hired, you can always decline if the wage is not to your liking. IP: Logged |
