Just wondering if anyone has been wasting their time watching the Big Brother TV Show. I didn't think I would actually watch that crap, but it seems to be a topic of discussion among my wife and friends. I'm sure the bookmakers have placed odds on the lot of them so far, any ideas? IP: Logged |

If you watch it you're in for about 20 minutes of commercials and 10 minutes of the actual show. It's interesting at times but how can you edit 24 hours of material into 10 minutes of quality entertainment. I don't see it catching on to well, it'll be dead in a month. IP: Logged |

That show is stupid as fuck. People these days are so easily entertained. I don't even watch TV. I sometimes watch movies on the weekend, but that's about it. I'd rather be lifting are outside doing something than sitting in front of a TV. ------------------ IP: Logged |

I saw the very first one where they were going over the peoples lives. That one dude had a kick ass pit bull. After that though it was all pretty fucking stupid. Now survivor is a great fucking show. ------------------ IP: Logged |

personally I think both survivor and big brother suck big time and plus I don't even watch much T.V in the summer I go out instead . But I have seen one episode of survivor and it sucks big time , but I still haven't seen big brother and i never intend seeing it because I know it sucks . I haven't seen Big Brother yet but I can tell you that Survivor sucks balls big time! They had a great idea and turned it into a game show. They play friggin games and food is given to them. I say toss the bastards on the island with no help and the "survivor" wins.

In general, I don't watch reality shows (I don't even have cable), but I had this on in the background the other day while I was cleaning up around the house. BOOORRRRINNNG!! I think the biggest problem it has is that the people have zero charisma -- they just sit there with a blank look, staring into the camera. At least with Survivor (which I think is a snooze too), a few of the people are kind of interesting (and they eat bugs and rats). IP: Logged |

Don't get wrong, my wife and both think the show sucks. I certainly agree there are too many commercials. In addition, the "house" design and components as well as the rediculous rules fester an environment totally unsuited to normal life. No contact with the outside world is absolutely insane. Big Brother definitely sucks, but I think Survivor rocks! Maybe it will get better, I dunno What's bugging me is: Don't the people on Big Brother actually think about the ramifications of speaking about personal stuff on Network TV?
