It's amazing this gets only 2 replies, including mine, but the Ebonics post was flooded with posts in a matter of minutes. Mostly flames too. Kind of funny how jokes about the white culture never seem to bother anyone but as soon as it's about the black culture things get heated up. Not just on this board either. Seems to be that way in all of society. This is just an obsevation so please don't start flaming me.

yea latimer, thats pretty interesting, I got over 100 replies from my Ebonics post, I'd say about 20 flames, 5 threats, and it got deleted by George. Hmmmmm, I wonder why people don't care if white people get made fun of, but as soon as its the other way around, they are labeled a racist. Maybe some of the losers who flamed me can explain, you know who you are, and so do I, I wouldn't want to start naming names.

The reason I did reply to your post is b/c it was getting so many negative reply's - I simply said the only thing i found offensive about it was that it wasn't funny. Like it or not there is more sensitivity regarding "Ebonics" than "Neck-isms" amongst those who use this sight. That is the only difference.

The reason George deleted (I think) the other post was because it was offending users.

Now, that being said, I really don't find ridiculing fat people all that funny either. Those posts stay, too.

The reason those posts stay is probably that none of us would be overly offened (eg. no fat people are reading this anyway).
