i have a friend this kid is a really nice guy...but he drinks like a fish...and when we go out he is so trashed that he makes a fool out of himself and my friends and I...we try to tell him but he doesnt listen...it is so annoying ...i am getting sick of it....girls see this idiot running around then they see me and what do you think they are thinking ..the other one must be an ass too....fucking pisses me off.... what should i do? need advice here...if it was up to me i would tune him up ..and leave him bleeding but myfriends wouldnt let me do that....me and this kid really dont get along as it is ....but i have to chill with him becuase we have mutual friends .....understand my situation thanks for your opinions ..... peace romeo IP: Logged |

I hear ya, kinda happened to me once. Just try to hang out with him alone. Work out with the kid,go to lunch, Bullshit around with him and eventually you'll make your friendship stronger. Talk to him before he starts drinking and talk to your mutual friends even before that to be sure they know what you're doing . Be sure they back you. You could interfere with his drinking as an option. Be places where its controlled or not allowed. Take them waterskiing as an example and don't let alcohol on the boat for safety, that kind of thing. Beating him would be too easy, besides, hes drunk. IP: Logged |

Sounds like my problem to....i tried talking some sense to some of these people, and then to my friends. I told them all that if those people continued to hang out around me that eventually they would piss me off and I would take care of the problem my way Well last week one of those guys crossed the line and was talking shit because one of my friends mentioned that my parents were splitting up...He thought he could joke around about it with me... Now the guy has 4 less teeth and a broken twisted nose....I don't think he will be comming around me or cracking rude jokes anytime soon... be nice, then be a dickhead if need be.... IP: Logged |

I was best friends with a guy just like that for years, it was kinda cool when we were in our early 20's, but now we're in our late 20's and I don't hang out with him anymore, I feel kinda bad but everything he wants to do revolves around drinking, and I won't be dragged into that shit lifestyle. I've tried talking to him about it, but he won't make any efforts to even cut back, these people just won't listen. All his other buddies have stopped hanging out with him as well. How @ asking one of your lady friends who he doesn't know to just lay it into him publicly and tell him the cold truth that his behavior is not cool and that he is a bum. It some times takes drastic situations for us to see reality, and who knows maybe he thinks the whole drunk look is cool and is trying to impress people. it might sound cruel but in the long run it�s prob the best thing that can happen to him. ------------------ IP: Logged |

I've had a few of these. You can start by blowing him off occassionally. He might get the message when no one calls him for a couple of weeks. I actually learned how to use one of my friends like this to my advantage. When we would go out, he would get stupid drunk and hit on every girl that walked by. This would give me an in to talk to them, because I knew that they would not like him. After talking to him for a minute or so, they will be relieved to talk to you. IP: Logged |

I've been where you are now on more than one occasion. Believe me. There's nothing more that pisses me off than a sloppy drunk. I've lost friends, respect, money, time, all because one asshole can't drink like a gentleman. Drop his ass. State your reason to his and your friend's face. Life full of choices dude. flash it is funny that you say that because just a few weeks ago a girl threw a drink in his face because he was being stupid....i wasnt there thank god... jay he works out but he doesnt have a real good build just the other day my friends girlfriends sister ripped into him while we were at bbq on the 4th for being stupid she told him he acts like an ass.... hopfully he will learn soon i would rather avoid the whole situation if possible but if i cant then oh well.... peace romeo IP: Logged |

Romeo funny story but I had a friend like that once and finally she agreed to go out on a Friday night with me and NOT drink, so this way she could OBSERVE how other drunk girls acted (which i am sure you know how they act) anyhow, since that one night out she realized how fucking stupid and slutty these girls looked and has never drank like she used to again!
