We have new mods now that are keeping a closer eye on the board.Some of these topics are useless & others just stray totally off the original topic.I say our new mods are doing a good job at keeping things cleaned up. IP: Logged |

Thiassi, Mods support unrestrained expression. I couldn't get to the link (couldn't be displayed). The only time mods lock a topic is when it becmes a flame fest or the responses are all the same and no new "ground is broken", so to speak. If you are talking about Bonita1's post, it certainly met the above criteria. I didn't lock it myself, but it had de-generated into "I don't believe pros use AS" against "Well, they do", with a lot of idiotic name calling in between. Whoever locked it made a judgment call, one with which I agree and apparently you disagree. Mods do not lock topics indiscriminately. Yes that is the one I was speaking of. She and I were talking about this a few nights ago. We were watching the green mile and I said the big black guy was on roids. She said not everyone has to cheat. I got pissed and said everyone knows Pro's do them and he is bigger than some of them. I said why don't you ask on my board that I post on. She did and her first post was locked. She said we are a bunch of hipicrypts were we want freedom, but you can't post anything derogitory or out of the norm. She did not have a problem when they called her a moron. And she did get some very well writen answers. I think someone didn't read all the posts and just read the heading. People like Theron, MP3 can write all kinds of shit and it does not get locked. Only after they got so many post it cloged the board did they even get deleted. She got her first post locked. That's real cool. I'm a mod on another board and I would not lock this post on that one. This is the last post I will make about this, because it does not need to become a pissing match.
