Great Mexican Food....I can't wait to move to San Marcos...it's about 40min north....be great for those weekend drives down to the RIVER walk....You could always take a ride on one of the river tour boats....it's a good way to spend some time if you have nothing to do....Sometimes you can arrange one of them where they will serve you dinner or lunch...They make arrangements with the local places off the river...

The people that own the Powerhouse gym in Austin own the one (I think) in S.A., the one here is a great gym and the owners are great folk, look it up if you are down there. Hum, S.A., there's not much going on down there, see the tourist crap in an afternoon or evening...the Alamo and the river walk (if you aren't from the south its hotter than a mother fucker now). You might try to drive up to New Bruanfels, and the Guadalupe or Blanco rivers, they are as nice as it gets in Texas. lots of springs, clear and cool, really good swimming or rafting.

Hey and if nothing else drive to Austin or Nuevo Laredo.

Might be a good place to score some gear considering so many have family across the border.

Hmmm, good idea. If I have never indulged, any ideas on what I should experiment with as a test?

Go to a bar and buy any big Mexican that looks like he worksout a beer. Ask him about his workout routine. Slowly start thinking of things to say about price of testo in ol Mexico and there you are, talking shop. Let me know how it goes.
