Don't get me wrong, I am aware that there's a lot of retards working security............but it sure can be fun if you work a concert with a group of friends. You also get to go backstage and meet the band members which is cool, and you get in for free which is very nice. The best concert I ever worked was a Metallica/Soundgarden Fest, it was unbelievable. A buddy of mine who was one that got me the job, had gotten headbutted by Danzig backstage once. Danzig is short, but he loves AS.
The worst concert I ever did was THE GREATFUL DEAD. The place was crawling with 120,000 smelly hippie dirtbags. If there are any hippies in here that I offended oh well............... you guys know you suck anyways that's why you only eat vegtables....... you know your not worthy of fine cuts of meat. As you can imagine a lot of hippies were rag dolled as they tried to break down the fence and jump over. I watched a State Trooper sick his German Shepard on a group of hippies throwing rocks, what entertainment!!!!!!! The dog tore the dirty hippies up. Many of the hippies were so high that the shit in there pants and don't even know. The most treated symptom was rashes(imgaine walking around all day with shit in your pants...Ouch!!!!), the medical tent also got it's fair share of overdoses.

Anyway, the money was good and most of my frieds that lifted or played football in college joined me. But I would never work concert security again, it was cool then but it would be a waste of my time now. The last Metallica concert I got into 2 fist fights with concert security, so I have been on both sides of the fence. I truly do feel bad for those security dudes at the Metallica concert(they were massive guys but they were very short) One of the short guys who looked like a bodybuilder with at least 20+ inch guns decided he would grad my buddy by the throat when he jumped the fence to get into the VIP section. The short bodybuilder really had his hands full, my friend is 6'3 250 linebacker was amazing speed and a history of fighting arts and powerlifting. They had to carry the security dude away on a stretcher. We kind of felt bad but we also wanted to laugh. Shortly after this display the crowd ignited and joined us as we pushed the fence down and charged the guards........we prevailed.

Shit man what dead concert did you work. You may not like hippies, but bro you were apart of one of the greatest bands that there ever was. I only got to go to one dead show and I am not a hippie either, but i loved to toke weed and the dead fucking rocked denver.

that is the kind of shit your kids are going to want to hear about so leave out the part about the smelly bastards and tell them about the unity and freedom that the dead was about bro.

Moe, I agree. It was about freedom and happiness. Unity and loyalty. How can you knock that. Every member of the dead was a musical genious and a creative mastermind. So they were smelly, but they were happy.

I agree the dead heads did have unity and they were not all like I explained. It just so happened that the worst on'e where the one's I had to deal with, so I'm probably a little biased.

You got a ticket with the understanding of what it meant and then beat the shit out of a guy that was doing his job and enforcing what you already agreed to. So you're allowed to do what you want as long as you're the biggest? You are whats wrong with society today. The funny part would have been if the security guard blasted the shit out of you because he didn't want to do what he was supposed to do. Remember that story the next time you get fucked

Kahn,
you most have lived a very sheltered life. Fighting is human nature and anyone who takes a security job at a heavy metal concert is doing so b/c they like to fight. Getting beat up or beating someone up is no big deal in my neighborhood. Some of my best fights have ended in a loss, but like a gentleman I accepted defeat. If you don't like fighting, you might want to have a glass box built for yourself.

Monstrosity bro, i think you missed Khan's point. It is not necessarily fighting that he is arguing against it is the reason for fighting. I am all for defending oneself or loved ones to the death, but that is not the same as assaulting someone with no provocation. I think your perspective on the situation might have been very different if it was your friend that ended up leaving on a stretcher and not the security. If that had happened you probably would have been calling the security "steroid freak assholes" like glenbenton. With size and strength should come the wisdom to use it properly. It is unfortuanate that situations like this lead to the sterotypes of large, muscle-heads with no brains who only get their kicks out of hurting others. Think about it bro...maybe you can use your size to help people, not hurt people.

Thanks for not doing the come to my gym and talk shit response monstrosity. I don't need to live in a glass house and I do not like fighting. I've won a lot more than I lost and I have hurt people worse than I intended and its not a good feeling. I'm no UFC champ or 6'6 and 275 and I've run into guys faster than me. I try like hell to get out of them but when I'm in, I'm in and I'll decide when it ends. I was commenting on the general idea and attitude that you do what you want. Might is right stuff. It isn't and its fucking up the planet because most of us don't know what right is. People don't care to improve, it's too hard of a job so they say fuck it. In my mind it boils down to the respect you have for others and yourself. If you fuck up a guy and send him to the hospital for doing his job that you agreed to, implied consent, then you have no respect for him, your word, or the quality of life that everyone deserves. Granted, though, he was probably an asshole because he grabbed your friend by the throat. The throat wouldn't have been touched if you guys kept your agreement.
