Hypothetical question, 21 yearold male dieting for show, not chemically enhanced, would a lack of carbohydrates affect that person's sex drive? Contributing to a lack of desire? ------------------ IP: Logged |

I don't know about sex drive, but if you go on a real low carb diet, it will affect your endurance and stamina. After one time you'll be all knocked out from the lack of energy. IP: Logged |

Romeo, I cant thank you enough for your feedback. Nothing hypothetical about it, Im so consumed by my present routine, training and dieting, and the day to day ups and downs as a result that my once pugnacious sex drive is all but a wimper now. I can only assume that all my available energy is being allocated to school and gym, everything else is forgotten. My social life is almost non-existant. I would just rather go to my girlfriends house when I do have free time and just relax with her next to me. Hell on another note, my family is giving me the same shit every day about my diet and the ridiculous extents they claim Im going through. I live with my mother because its financially expediant for a college student, however Its a non-stop bitch fest with her pertaining to my training and current eating habits. The people at my gym are all but driving me insane. If i dont get another comment about my appearnce and being "too lean" it will be to soon. People are constantly referring to my "personality change" never once taking into consideration that precontest diet might have something to do with it. Im mean Its so frustrating, I display the sam passion and dedication that the veterans do, yet Im only 21, im succeeding because at this, yet my efforts are on occassion trivalized by ignorant sandbagging lazy gym flys that dont understand what dedication is. Sure, its ok for the gym owner to be a bit crabby, or for some of the older gentlemen, but the kid "myself" has to be continueously accomidating, chatty, and upbeat dispite dietary restraints. Aww fuckit, suck it up right? Thanks fellas ------------------ IP: Logged |

I notice a decreased sex drive on low calorie diets -- ketogenic or not. This is when NOT on AS. later Puc IP: Logged |
