Well if marijuana is part of the date, its always a good date. Anyway take her to an IMAX or to a restaurant with a view like on the 40th floor. Go eat by the water(lake, ocean) , take her to a club thats mellow with alot of couches, wake her ass up real early and take her on a hot air balloon ride, they usually provide the food and champagne but your really going to need some wonderful herb if your going to be that high. You can also plan a suprise vacation , doesnt have to be big, just something for the two of you to enjoy. Basically, just do something different, no movies, bowling, pool,average restaurant or usual club. Why don't you take her to a day spa? Have all the arrangements made ahead of time, you know, pedicure, facial, massage, lunch, etc. There are a lot of places where couples can do this stuff "side-by-side". GIRLS LOVE THIS STUFF! Steel, Just tske her somewhere she hasn't been 100 times before. Even if you have to drive an hour to get there - that's Ok because if you like this girl then you get to talk to her on the drive etc. Just show her that you put some effort into making it a good experience - she will appreciate that a lot.....and take it from there - don't try to over-choreograph things...let it happen Matt IP: Logged |

Bikinimom has a good idea.. we women love spas. And if you can drag a man to one, then they seem to warm up to it once they get a good massage. Picnics are also fun.. go to a gourmet food store, tell 'em to load up a picnic basket with yummies and wine, then take her to a quiet park (remember a blanket). Steel, one word: Aquarium. You are laughing (all of you) but this will work. It's different, it's interesting, you get to talk, she'll think the fish and seals etc, are cute - and it requires very little effort from you - the fish are already there. Hey Matt I can vouch for the aquarium....I took a girl to the Steinhart Aquarium out here in San Fran and she loved the fish and turtles, and the sharks were scary.....I got laid that afternoon b4 dinner!...1st date..I am 31 and she is 24.... The aquarium is a great spot! IP: Logged |

Take her to a bodybuilding/fitness show. I love them - so does my husband. I compete so it's fun for him to watch me perform while he's in the audience. Before I competed though, we enjoyed going and watching everybody. You may want to eat dinner PRIOR to the show. Usually the shows 1) can last for about 3 hours, and 2) don't always start on time. What about excitement? I have been totally impressed by guys who have taken upon themselves to arrange for an out of the ordinary first date. Examples ( I haven't tried all, but would like to some day) Helicopter ride, jet skiing, skydiving (Still waiting to get the guts for this one), hot air balloon ride, bungee, kick ass rollercoaster, surfing, mountain biking, 4 wheel driving, white water rafting) Just a thought, add some adrenalin! Kimmy, I hear you about the excitement - but if we do that on the first date, where is that taking the second? As far as I am concerned (and I apply this principle whether I am trying to get laid or actually looking for someone), the first date, do something unusual (zoo, aquarium, etc) because it makes conversation easy and allows you to get to know each other.
