I think Steel Beast and I are on the same page but if not fuck it. Otomix shoes, baggy pants and fanny packs are some of the most fucked up looking accessories one could put on. In my opinion they have "fucking dork" written all over them. If I have offended anyone, its not intentional,the stereotypical bodybuilder look has got to go. Thank You and Good Morning! If I were you, I'd get Hi-Tec Magnum boots. They offer a good grip, are confortable and are pretty light eventough they're boots... They can go as low as 59 $ US! Most of the pros use these to train with and if you guys watch wrestling you know that most of the wrestlers always were them when in street clothes (Austin, Triple H, etc...). I just wear an old, beat up pair of crosstrainers. Recently, when I've been squatting, I've been taking my shoes off and squatting with just my socks on. I don't know if this is the reason, but I've been able to go lower and no longer need to keep 5 lb plates under my feet like I was. I heard wrestling shoes or chuck taylor's are good for deadlifting because of the flat soles. Personally I just wear my normal street shoes when I workout. Besides I can never find any otomix that match my hot pink fag bag(fanny pack). Anyone know where I can get those neat looking chestless spandex tanktops? IP: Logged |

Otomix shoes are so overrated. I hate to see those skinny punks wear them in the gym. Like they are gonna make you look like a hardcore or something! I wear Nike wrestling shoes. They are really comfortable and they are great for squats and stiff legged deadlifts. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Mr Muscle from your post experience and some of the tips, advice etc. you give you defenitely have some knowledge in this game but damn man, what the fuck is up with these otomix shoes, you can attain a grip from other shoes. BWAHAHAHAHA!!!! thats going way back now. i had a pair of otomix, they were alright. i like just plain nike 3/4's for the gym though. i see cats in otomix at the gym and they just perpetuate the baggies tank top or booty shorts and tank top stereotype. scary on both accounts. too damn hot for pants and no where near hot enough for sporting chauneys. my opinoin. hehe. but otomix are decent for support and "feel". ------------------ IP: Logged |
