I lived in CA for a while and I always thought that it was supposed to be the state where all the pretty people were from but now I'm from FL and I definitely think that FL has some more fitness minded people. That's not to say that each state doesn't have its share of bbs and out of shape people. But I think that the warmer states are more fitness conscious and they have more gyms etc. I grew up in Maine and there isn't even a gym for 60 miles! So my question is do you think that environment plays a part in someones potential to stay fit or not? When in Rome so to speak.... Just wondering :> IP: Logged |

From what I understand, the frequency of events and number of participants begins with California, then Florida, then believe it or not North Carolina. From what I understand those states produce the best athletes and have the tuffest state shows ------------------ IP: Logged |

Aren't Texans a little bit on the, umm, larger side (and not in the good way) The answer sure isn't New York. Some of the men have their little health club muscles, but most of the women are either flabby or painfully skinny. IP: Logged |

Well I would have to agree that Cali and Fla are tops, especially for the women (which I prefer to look at) But on a smaller scale, Arizona aint bad either... and yes, warm weather with skimpier clothes definitely helps Just ask anyone who has attended Arizona State (I plan on making a career of going there LOL) IP: Logged |

I was in South Beach 2 months ago (even before my growth and insulin cycle that has put on 27lbs with no fat) and was surprised because everywhere I went people acted like I was the most muscular person they have ever seen. I stayed at the Delano and when I was at the pool the women were all gawking at me. I went to Tantra and the women were all grabbing my arms telling me how muscular I am. I went to Nikkis Beach club and when I left the girl at the front was going to put a stamp on my hand so I could get back in, but she said I was so big she would remember me. Then just walking down Collins Ave. I could hear people in their cars saying "man that guy is huge". I thought there would be a lot of big people there and I wouldn't stand out too much. I was wrong. Thanks, Blackhaus, well said. Bam-Bam, did you read my disclaimer? I'm flaming those idiots who never had a date in HS, gained 30lbs in 2 months, and now think that they're hot shit. They walk around clubs with with no shirts on, looking for fights, and girls..... Someone should tell them it takes more than "new muscle" to get the girl.... Hence the comment about their being no such drug to improve looks and intelligence. I have nothing against the intelligent use of steriods. My brother, and some of my best friends are users. I have a lot against the guys who train for 2 weeks, then do a huge cycle, and walk around like tough guys, giving ALL BB's a bad name. IP: Logged |
