Now I know why the medical community is so screwed up in this country! Here are just two quotes out of a college level textbook on anatomy and physiology.

"There is little evidence that anabolic steroids confer additional strength or endurance when taken in moderate doses"

AND

"Most physicians recommend eating a balanced diet that includes a variety of foods rather than taking vitamin or mineral supplements"
What Bull!

I don't get it they both make sense especially the last one. It's my understanding that they don't give you much strength at most doctor prescribed doses which they probably mean when they say moderate doses. The 2nd one is just common sense. It's much better to get your vitamins and minerals from a balanced diet than from dietary supps. Real food always packs an advantage.

THey did a medical study last year comparing 3 groups : 1) got no testosterone and worked out 2) one group got testosterone and worked out 3) last group got medically prescribed (moderate doses) of testosterone but did not work out.

The group that got testo and worked out made the most progress in muscle gain and strength. The group that did testo (moderate levels) but did not owrk out made second best gains. The group that worked out without testo made the poorest (although some) gains.

So the medical opinion is changing, slbeit slllloooooooowwwwwwllllllyyyyyy.

Yeah i guess that first part is bunk. Your gonna get some gains.

That 2nd part makes sense though.

first part makes no sence...second part makes sense. Why? because thats what doctors say. They are wrong in saying it but thats what they say.

I'm just saying it's better to get your nutrients from real food as opposed to supplements. I'm not saying the supps are junk or don't work.

True Latimer. But some people would rather get their vitamin c for 18.99 rather than buying a pound of oranges for 89cents. Beats me....
