JUST WONDERING IF ANY OF YOU DONE IT OR THOUGHT ABOUT IT.THIS WEEKEND I WAS APPROACHED BY ARTHUR MINDS FROM WWW.ARTMINDS.COM ASKING IF IM INTERESTED.I TOLD HIM MAYBE..JSUT WONDERING IF ANYONE KNOWS WHATS UP...I REFUSE TO DROP ANY MASS I HAVE FOR SOME PICS. thats my thing...i am a fitness model by profession....a word of advice....before you take any pictures, get a signed contract as to what the pictures may be used for....research the photographer....if it is not a big name photographer in the industry, call the bbb( better buisness bureau) & check up to see if there are any complaints on the person....and just use common sense,,,it is flattering to have someone approach you & say they want to take your picture....but assess the situation first, does the person look a professional, do they have cards, a portfolio( all reputable photographers will have a portfolio of their work or tear sheets of their work)...do they give you a good vibe.....go with your gut instinct if you think something is off.... if you are interested in modeling, get a few shots taken by a quality photographer, & send it to a few specialized agencies....hope this helped a little IP: Logged |

I was approached twice by agents and once the fuckers called my house asking me to come down. I went down and they told me that I was goodlooking and could be a model. Come on, did you see those guys on that site, they're all tiny little boys, none of them can be over 200 lbs. Come on!! As someone who is mentioned in a previous post on this board (Art Minds, www.artminds.com), I would like to correct the record. "The Steel Beast" who doesn't identify himself by name here (and which out of respect for the privacy policies of my business I will not do here) falsely states that I approached him regarding modeling last weekend. Since he is in North Carolina, and I am in Los Angeles, that would be difficult. He submitted his information to me via my web site, indicating an interest in modeling. I requested that he follow up by telephone, but he has failed to do so. My web site logs indicate the source of all traffic to my web site, and I found this message because of the large number of visitors which came from the link posted in his message (thank you!). I do not routinely work with body builders, but more classical athletic physiques. However, I have a project in development which may involve larger physiques than you see in my typical work. I would encourage "The Steel Beast" to follow up with me, but to discontinue making false claims about who initiated the contact. Best regards, Art Minds IP: Logged |
