Do you guys have trouble finding jeans that fit properly, it seems I need to get them with a 40 inch waist to make them fit. Then I have to cinch the fuck out of them with a belt to prevent them from falling off. I hate doing this because it looks fucking retarded. My glutes and hams will not fit into normal jeans. Levi's are the worst.

Have you tried the relaxed fit styles (any brand)? They are cut larger through the legs but the waist is the same.

You should try being female and finding jeans to fit...sheesh!

I have seen those BB jeans you were refering to. They have like that 80s era elastic waist band and they just look funny to me. They look like something MC Hammer's Dancers might wear. Just as Skydancer mentioned, you might want to consider something like Levis 550 or 560 jeans. You can also get your jeans altered at the waist.

Monstrosity,

I have that problem bad.

What I do is buy pants with a bigger waist size than I need so the legs are a little bigger also. Then I just wear a belt. It's not ideal but it gets me through.

Now dress pants, that's another story. Anyone know a good Long Island tailor?

Since I am a fashion major, I should answer this question...The Levi's store in NYC makes custom made jeans for a relatively low price. Good luck...

I have had this problem for six years. It pissed off to the point that when I wasn't wearing a uniform I wore sweat pants.

I know this will sound funny but the solution is easy. Womens jeans, yes, womens jeans. I have a thrity five inch waist but my ass and quads need a jean made for a 42 inch waist.

womens size 17/18 longs fit great. It is awsome that after six years of wearing jeans that are too big in the waist to finally have a pair that fit.

There are many different cuts so you'll have to try on several pairs. Some have huge asses some are real tight in the calves. I got mine a target, don't remember the name.

I felt like a cross dress the first time. but at least I have pants that fit.

They have stretch Levis where I live.
They are wonderful and show quads really good and stretch to fit you, but still look great.

My legs are weak but I still have to go with Levi 560's. 501's won't fit with a waist close to mine.

I outgrew 501's a long time ago. The relaxed fit aren't much better anymore. Women's pants are totally out of the picture since they are so damned high waisted. I had to switch to men's khaki's.

Beercan,

Medford isn't that far. What's the name of the place anyway?
