As you all probably know I had surgery on tuesday....to get "enhanced"

Anyway, I have horrible brusing down my side, around my ribcage, and I am swelled by my waist on one side....I also have nasty purplish brusing under my armpits.

The only supplement I know of which helps brusing to heal is arnica montana...anyone know of any others that would help me heal quicker???

Minerals prevent bruising and help the blood flow. Zinc and magnesium are the best.

well if your bruising after you had surgery, i would be asking your doctor what the problem is, but he will most likey say it's no big deal, and should go away within a week. as far as supplements i wouldn't know, you might try vit A & E gel caps, and rub it on your bruises......

My ex had the same deal after getting her tiddies. It is normal after and enlargement, but you can take stuff to keep the blood in the skin down.

Wife had same prob. Iron or a good multi vitamin will work. Or just start eating your spinach every day. What size did you get?

Just as Checkmatebloated said: I think this is normal....the bruising should subside after about 4-6 weeks. My female friends says the bruising is worth it considering what the outcome is. You should be happy with the results (considering you had an excellent surgeon).

epsom salt bath. apparently its for bruising and sprain relief. could be worth a shot. its magnesium sulfate MgSO4. a soaking aid fro minor sprains and bruises, hehe. read that from the package.

also a saline laxative for short term relief of constipation...but thats for another topic. hehe. hope you feel better soon.

The best thing I have seen are some Chinese liniments like Dit Dah Jow, Zheng Gui Shui etc. I have literally seen them take a fresh bruise the size of a quarter and in 20 minutes it was gone. I gave some once to a lady in a bad car wreck. The had a hematoma the size of a orange on her bicep...not round spot the size of the circumference of an orange...it looked like an orange was stuck under her skin...or a breast implant on her arm. It was huge. She used Dit Dah Jow for 1 week and it was nice and flesh colored - still a little large though. Like roids though there are some weak or bogus brands out there. After I became a fan of it I learned to mix my own. It is amazing. Some "jows" (liniments) are for reducing pain, some for reducing bruising. A good chinese herbalist can recommend the right ones. The good ones are amazing
