I like both Eminem and Kid Rock. Eminem's new stuff is dope. Lot more aggressive on this album. I like that song The Way I Am the best. Did you just watch that MTV special or something?

Each generation has its own likes and dislikes when it comes to music. The true test is staying power. When Santana can have a #1 album and hit after 30+ years in the biz, you got to be impressed. Look at Aerosmith and AC/DC, they are as popular now as they were 20+ years ago. They still rock. I wonder if Kid Rock and Eminem(?) will still be pumping out hits in 20 years? cm3504jm: Don't mean to flame...but....I'm not really impressed with all the hoopla with Santana. I mean...Rob Thomas wrote the song and sung it. I bet 10 to 1 that he didn't really have a say so in it either. It was all up to the President of the record company Clive Davis. Is he gonna tell the president of his own record company no? I think not. I think Carlos Santana is an "alright" artist, but I wouldn't break my neck trying to get to Sam Goody to buy his latest. Eminem is probably the most talented freestyle rapper since KRS-1. Do we all remember KRS-1? For those of you not from NY, he used to stage rap freestyle competitions in the NY city area - where such luminaries as Grand Puba, Dana Dane and others would show off their skills.
