He is still a Texas Police Officer. He is not active. When his career ends, he will be able to return to the force if he likes to. That was his own decision. As for him getting away with it. In the US it is totally legal for anyone to take HGH and test under a doctor provided they are over the age of 25. This is his loophole to use whatever he wants. POLICE OFFICERS ARE NOT TESTED FOR STEROIDS UNLESS IT IS SPECIFICALLY REQUESTED FOR SOME REASON, AND THEY JUST CAN'T SAY HE IS BIG SO I THINK HE IS ON ROIDS. He needs to do something first.
They only test for weed, coke, etc.

They do give a lie detector test and ask if you have ever done, sold or plan to do or sell illegal drugs...including juice
