I saw 'Frequency' a while ago. It's the movie about the son and the dad, and they meet in the future...And the son knows he's going to die so he tells him over his radio to watch his back that day and his dad survives...and the pictures in the house and the articles in the newspaper change...it's a very good movie.
If you could change some things and go back in time what would they be? For me it would be to start working out like at 14 or so, and to go out with that girl in 10th grade that i had a crush on...she asked me out and i was fuckin stupid..i thought i was going to move out of the city and told her i'd have to see...these are the 2 things i regret and i would go back in time and change them if i had a chance.

so far no real regrets, maybe hitting school at an earlier age. but then again maybe not. going in the corps was a good experience as well.

of course more ass....but thats a given.

training at an earlier age and using my teenage window of growth a bit better. hehe.

I wouldn't change a damn thing. You have to accept life's ups and downs. It builds character.

I would have started a cycle to see what would happen.

I would not have stayed out all night fucking a dancer the night before I was to try out for Arena football. I cramped up and couldn't finish the tryouts. I also would not have cut up for spring break when two pro scouts came to see me in college and tell me I'm too small. I was only 6'1 230 at the time and when they had seen me play earlier in the season I was 270.

The ONLY ONLY ONLY regret I have in my life is not having a camera on me to take pictures of some of the places I have been or things I have seen.

But they are in my mind forever.

I'm glad I'm not Henry Ryan or his parents, Bro Moe. Good one Arminius, maybe that's what mistakes are for...That which doesn't kill you, makes you stronger...Reqrets everyone has, but it does teach us a lesson about how precious this gift is we call life ..More women, earlier lifting, less wine, more song... longer vacations...and a hell of alot more scuba diveing...

I wouldn't have let myself get fat when I was younger, and wouldn't have taken that year off of lifting between freshman and sophmore year. I also would have eaten right throughout all of my training. Hell, until next monday I still won't be eating right.

I actually thought about this just last week. After breaking up with my G/F.
I was mad at first but came to realise life is too short to hold dumb grudges. Theres 2 things in life that is a fact. Acception and rejection. There cant be anything else. If you like a girl, ask her out. She wil say yes or no. If she says no there are many others out there. Not too sure what Im trying to say, but life is short live it to the fullest! Dont ask yourself "why?" ask yourself "why not?"
ok Im done!

I remember reading somewhere that people mostly regret things they wish they had done, rather than things they did.

There is a least 1/2 dozen girls I remember that I wish I had done. That and worked legs harder earlier on.

I don't think life is bad I just think that unless something happens to us after we die, (something that by its very definition we can't know untill it happens) that it all a waste of time. And if something does happen to us after we die, why waste time, fast forward to the movie and skip the previews. I don't really belive all this, and I most certainly don't want to die, but if this is all thier is, I'd rather not have been born, cuz, its a waste of my oh-so-valuable time.

funny topic... i have just moved to a distant place, i know one person now.. get lonely as hell, and i hate my fuckin job.. all i have are regrets.... so here goes...
i would have began training younger, maybe 17. i would have listened to coaches in hoops growing up instead of thinking i was above what they said.. i would never have transferred from my original school, i would never have told the coach what i thought of him... i would have learned good training techniques instead of tearing both cuffs. i would have had the surgery. i would never have moved from michigan for this job... i would however have moved from michigan for another job. i would never have admitted to smoking pot in a police interview... fuckin cost me a job!!!! i would have enjoyed all the tournaments and team play of ball when i was younger.. i would never have stopped playing football... i would have knocked that fuckin guy out who i just walked away from... i would have finished college in 4 or 5 years... instead of 7.

ah, it goes on and on

what we did in the past defines who we are now... and what we do now will mold our future. with that being said, the only thing i would change is that when i was young, that i wouldn't have spent all that time wasting my life away in front of the TV or whatever wasteless activity i did. i think i could have done a lot more productive things to better who i am now...

also i wish i could have realized at a young age not to give a shit what other people think and just do what makes you happy...
