![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() here a question for you all....i am having surgery on tuesday of next week, & i went to the doctor for my bloodwork yesterday....he gave me a list of things not to take this week prior to surgery....one of them was asprin....it thins blood...and you dont want that for obvious reasons prior to surgery....my fat burner has white willow bark in it, the herbal substitution for asprin....can i take this or not? ![]() ![]() ![]() If you have a pharmacy that you usually go to ask them if they can give you a brief list of things that you should avoid (tell him or her about what your doctor said). They should be able to give you a list of herbals that are in the same category and should be avoided also. Be sure to check with your doctor as well. In any case, err on the side of caution, and if you're not sure, then don't take anything. IP: Logged |
