I was wondering if there was any definite correlation between sexual activity and the resulting testosterone levels directly after it. Does it decrease at all as a result? I definitely notice a substantial decrease in sex drive for the next few hours to two days, and most of the time a dramatic reduction in my energy level and overall workout intensity for about two days after. But if I go a week without any relations with a girl, my energy levels while working out are incredible, and I can usually go through my whole routine without getting the least bit fatigued. I'm sure this is a pretty popular question, just couldn't find an answer to it.

i posted something about this too, sometime in the past.
i also sent a letter to dan duchaine and he published it in muscle media, but he didn't get my point exactly.
according to everybody, it doesn't affect you r test levels. i get weak after having sex, though, and it's not just the physical strain, because i can also feel a lowered energy level after masturbating.

You feel weak/tired because after the endorphin release that accompanies orgasms, (the natural high), there is a recovery period where your endorphins are lower.

Getting into the gym will alleviate this.

Sex actually raises your testosterone, just not enough to exhibit any actual benefit. Everyone feels a bit weaker after sex but that feelings shouldn't last too long. I personally wouldn't have sex before a grueling leg workout, but it shouldn't impact your progress or focus in the gym. It's all in your head.
