Now if I am correct AS is illegal because it is not good for us, right. So they are "protecting" us from dieing early, right. So by that standard should it not also be illegal to be mammothly FAT? I think it has long term health problems too. ------------------ IP: Logged |

True, but if it was illegal to be fat in America, we'd have more prisoners than free citizens. IP: Logged |

I think that's what all politcians want is every citizen to be a felon, that way they can all reelect each other forever, after all the American People are too stupid to know whats good for them, or didn't you know that? McDonald's should be illegal, I can't count the number of FAT PIGS I have seen there, I NEVER EAT THAT SHIT NOW, NOT EVER. it's quality food and protein from now on.... 8% BF and less from now on, I have 4 weeks off and I'm gonna live in the gym six days a week. The tobacco companies should be heroes instead of villans, after all if 400,000+ people didn't die every year from smoking the social security administration would have been broke by now, that's something to think about isn't it? Just think when tobacco is illegal 400,000+ American's a year could live another 20 years into retirement, are the idiots in Washington aware of that? I don't think so. So please smoke'em if you gottem, I want to spend your retirement money.. Only dummies smoke. [This message has been edited by Rich1 (edited May 24, 2000).] IP: Logged |

I am an older geezer who is currently taking testo and hGh legally by prescription. They recommended disability for me 3 years ago due to spinal injuries. I did not take the disability due to personal pride. I have been on these legal anabolics for about 3-4 months and feel GREAT. My back pain was gone (95%) within days of beginning the combination. I just wish I had known about them earlier but I believed what I had heard about how bad and dangerous they are - hell aspirin has more side effects (watch out you E/C/A stackers....lol). My bench has jumped up alot - I did 265 for 4 reps this week. I even competed in a strength contest 3 weeks ago - did not do that great but hell, I competed. 3 years ago they were telling me I was disabled, now I can sqaut 315 pretty darn strictly for 14 reps. I have begun doing some mild olympic lifts as recommended by some guys I met at itstherock.com. I have gained about 12 LBS of muscle in these few weeks, and I had lifted for years prior with no real gains. Sex drive is up and feel much better in general. less wrinkles. I know literally thousands of elderly women on estrogen hormones and NONE of them ever had any lab tests prior to recieving estrogen. They simply said I am depressed or hot and baboom...scrip time. Estrogen has been linked to breast and uterine cancer and increased risk of stroke from thromboembolism. Teenage girls are on the birth control pill, a powerful hormone combination simply by telling a doctor : I have bad zits, I get menstrual cramps, I want to have sex and you can't stop me. Do you think a teen boy could be put on androgens by saying : I want zits, I want big muscles or I want to have sex but my puny pecs are stopping me.......LOL These teen girls often are not required to have any lab tests done. Women of all ages get female hormones just by basically asking for them....no lab tests. To get androgens they require all sorts of tests. It is harder to get I think then a permit to own radioactive plutonium. What are the big side effects. The worst they say is prostate problems. There has never been a case that is verified as being due to testo. In fact current research says it may not be the testo or DHT that causes prostate problems. Older men get prostate problems but do not have high testo. It may actually be the estrogen that causes it. When men age their testo drops and their estrogen is relatively higher than normal. Men with naturally high testo (ages 20-30) have the LOWEST risk of major diseases. maybe the testo is protective. They have done some controlled studies and men prescribed hGH did not get any prostate cancer and in fact Dr. Chein had one case of a guy with documented prostate cancer whose cancer was cured by taking the hGH (admittedly it was not the 6 IU a day regimin some of your gear heads are taking). There is a little too much fuss over male hormones and it is a bit hypocritical.

Hey NoviceJuicer, Interesting post! I have a couple of questions for you if you don't mind. What kind of back problems do you have that the docs felt your regimen would help you? What are the dosages you're taking? I'm glad it's working out for you. Keep it up!! One more, How old are you? [This message has been edited by denmaur (edited May 25, 2000).] IP: Logged |

I have severe degenerative arthritis of the lumbar spine with some disc blow outs. I have complete numbness over the outer quadrant of the left upper thigh. I am 38...not ancient. The doctor who prescribes my meds is board certified in anti aging medicine (and placed 3rd in Ms. Olympia about 20 years ago). Anti aging MD's work with people of all ages. There is a childhood condition called Progeria in which youth age about 8 times faster then normal and die at age 9 or so. Its not about chronological age but biological age. The goal of anti aging medicine is for everyone to reac the chronologic age of 100 in a biologically 45 year old body. The 3 rules of anti aging medicine are : 1) don't get sick 2( Don't get old 3) Don't die. Anti aging docs say aging is a disease that everyone gets and therefore should be treated in everyone - preventatively. So my low back is like a 80 year old mans without the steroids. I am taking `100 mg of transdermal testo twice a day and about 1- 1.5 IU of hGH a day. [This message has been edited by NoviceJuicer (edited May 26, 2000).] IP: Logged |

I love the anti-agers... They're the only ones who hate the FDA as much as we do... Puc IP: Logged |
