Probably the wrong forum for this but figured this is the hardest core room where I would get the most competitive bodybuilders to respond.

How many of you guys shave year-round? I have that thick, course (pube-like) hair all over my body thanks to Mediterranean descent. I shave pretty much daily, but I always seem to have a mild rash or skin irritations, especially on the backs of my legs. This is only worsened with contest tanners. Anyone have any suggestions, or any experience with various hair removal processes? Let me know. PS use Mach 3 razors and Gilette shaving gel.

this might sound funny, but you should try waxing. it will pull the root out and they will grow back thinner and thinner. plus you can get some asian chick to do you (oops i mean to it for you)

I would look into the new laser light hair removal. The newest form takes 2-3 visits for a large area and is very effective. I have found they have package rates and it is totally painless. Hope this helps....

I tried the waxing and it works good. And yes Grow or Die, it was by an asian chick. After that I would try Nair. Shaving just irritates me too much. I don't know much about the laser technique.

Well I haven't shaved the body in almost 8 months...I'm just triming with one of those clipper razors...keeps things neat...not perfect but neat enough...Nair agravated me so I'm thinking right now about saving up for the laser, wax didn't work to well

I come from a Mixed European faimly so I have the same problem...the Hairgrowth Inhibitor spray from the Epil stop stuff worked good to get the hair thin...

i shave year round and it sux a big one, but the ladies really like smooth nuts. i get my girl to shave my legs, but if u dont have that i would say go for the waxing, unless u have the money for laser. the waxing can keep you smooth for over two weeks, and it is true that the hair grows back thinner!

hehe i was wondering when the nuts part would come up. hehe. i just keep quiet on that and wait for another bro to start that. hehe.
legs are a bitch to shave. hate it. but i hate hair more. so that lotion stuff works pretty well at thinning it out? ill have to look into it. used nair before, seemed to work but spotty. razor works well. just wish i could get rid of it for good dammit. hehe.

I had the laser done a little over a year ago on my upper back. It felt kind of like a rubber band snapping against your skin. The thing is that your hair grows in cycles and one treatment is not going to permanently remove all the hair. I had 3 treatments total at $300-$400 each and nothing has come back so far. It worked, but I'm not sure if it was worth all the $$$.
