Jujitsu here bro. They are similar in many ways. But in Jujistu, besides the throws, you learn how to do chokes, break arms and fingers, punch and kick, and if necessary break your opponents neck. No wonder they call it "the gentle art"

Same in Aikido bro, trust me! We also do breaks (fingers, necks, toes, arms, etc.), choke outs and weapons . Great calisthenic work out. I've been training for two years in Aikido (4th kyu Blue belt)and some Kempo Karate. I swear I feel like I could take on anyone. How about you? How long you been trainin'?

is that brazilian or the gracie style. How long into it before you learn how to break necks.......that sounds good.

Serious, when you are doing the submission fighting, if you continue the arm bars and shit does that end up breaking the arms, legs, which ever.

Hiji-jimi also known as the arm bar will no doubt break someones arm. You really have to be carefull when training.

It's not Brazilian or Gracie, it's called traditional Jujitsu. I've been training for a little over two years and just got my brown belt. I learned the neck breaking move after about a year. It's called the head winding throw. Pretty cool.

What style of Aikido is it? Usheiba started it but some branched off and changed some things.
