Clarins is the best if you can afford it. If not, Neutrogena is 2nd.

Gotta disagree, and I've tried just about all of them. If you can afford it, Jan Tana is the best.

Yeah, Jan Tana has a couple of different products. One of their tanners doesn't work very well, the instant one works very well but sometimes does stain the clothes so you must be careful. The only disadvantage about Jan Tana is the price -- it's a bit expensive compared to the store bought tanners.

Believe it or not, Banana Boat Deep Dark in the bronze bottle -- not Medium Dark in the white bottle. This totally cheap-o product ($5.00 - $7.50) comes as a cream, lotion, or foam, and it's at every drugstore. VERY intense -- be careful with application, or you'll look very streaky. Especially good for olive-skinned people ... dries brown, not orange.

I just tried Jan Tana Show Tan and I love it. No streaks and the color is brown not orange or red. It's not cheap, but it works.

Glenbenton, you need ocean or sea water. A buddy of mine had a similar problem; his girl always complained of having to pop his zits on his back. But the thing is, his back would clear up come spring time. I'm from SD, so I hope you catch my drift: we would all resume surfing with our wetsuits off when the water was warm enough. Being out in the ocean 24/7 helped him out, it might do the same for you.

Glenbeton, you're not near an ocean, but Lake Michigan is everywhere you look in Chicago.
